Idk if it’s the same batch, but my husband and some friends have used SSA’s c250. No complaints.I got the same but haven’t used any of it yet
I think doing subq works, but results are inconsistent, whereas IM always works. Some people’s labs go down when switching from IM. Plus the leaner you get the more those oil lumps are gonna show, and I’ve seen some people with lumps that last for a long time.I'm not on trt but all my buddies that inject do it in the ventro glute with a 27ga 1/2 inch syringe. Been debating on starting and would definitely do the smallest needle possible instead of a harpoon.
Also, some people even do subq. Guess it depends on the volume and carrier oil
Maybe I’m just old school. lol I was always told it’s best to get it deep into the muscles because of more adequate blood flow. I tried subcutaneous and it did very little for me but leave bumps in my skin for weeks at a time.I’ve had this happen but in my delt, like an involuntary muscle twitch. It was such a weird feeling. Why such a long ass needle though? My husband and I both use 28g 1/2”. He does ventro glute and I rotate delts and glutes.
I’ve been considering using vial spikes for my testosterone but I think I am just addicted to spending money on this stuff now.SubQ will release slower which tends to result in less fluctuation which tends to improve some side effects, but you won't get as quick of a response and as high of a peak.
I can do TRT doses SubQ with a 30g - I draw with a 25g and swap - but when I go to higher doses I'll be swapping to IM and a 27g.
Be careful on these. Most of them are polycarb and the BB in the oil will cause them to leech plastic into the oil. Some people have reported some pretty gnarly reactions to them.I’ve been considering using vial spikes for my testosterone but I think I am just addicted to spending money on this stuff now.
Was in a rush when I posted this and forgot to come back and tell the full story here but wanted to post a warning.Be careful on these. Most of them are polycarb and the BB in the oil will cause them to leech plastic into the oil. Some people have reported some pretty gnarly reactions to them.
That’s scary. Thank you for the advice. Have you ever warmed your oil for an easier draw? That’s something else I’m considering. Was in a rush when I posted this and forgot to come back and tell the full story here but wanted to post a warning.
I had a pretty significant reaction to them myself - using the braun inline filter ones. I had a series of 4 sterile abscesses that I strongly suspect was caused by the plastic leeching into the oil.
The first two I found after the fact - the third abscess became noticeable to me later on in the day of the 4th injection, and when the 4th occurred I started prodding around the last two injections and found two lumps that were different in shape/size/feel to an oil depot. 3rd and 4th grew to considerable size, with the 4th being the largest. The first three have basically all gone away a month in, and the 4th is about 10% of where it was prior.
No redness/etc. like you would expect if they were infected, I never reuse needles, always wipe everything down with isopropyl, etc. No issues before, no issues after. I suspect the escalating nature was due to increased concentration of plastic in the oil as it sat longer in the multispike over time.
I can't definitively prove it was this and not some other factor, but it seems linked enough to me that I will be avoiding using any plastic vial spikes moving forward.
Yep, I have a coffee mug warmer I use. Put the vials on it before I get in the shower and they're good to go by the time I've showered and dried off. That’s scary. Thank you for the advice. Have you ever warmed your oil for an easier draw? That’s something else I’m considering.
