Hey guys, so looking for BAC water in Brazil has been a pain, I have only been able to find local vendor for sterile water, but without the alcohol it would have a really short lifetime after open, so I'm here to ask, does any one of the Brazil users can help me understand where you guys get your BAC water?

Buy some benzyl alcohol and add 0.9% to it

There is a BAC water recipe that was posted by a Brit because they have problems finding it, too. I can't seem to find it here so I asked Gemini and this is what it said. I can't find anything wrong with it, but you should verify it yourself, or filter it, and use at your own risk:

  • Use sterile water: Distilled water is ideal. If using tap water, boil it for 15 minutes, then cool it completely.
  • Measure benzyl alcohol accurately:
    • For 10 mL of water: Add 0.09 mL of benzyl alcohol (9 units on an insulin syringe).
    • For 30 mL of water: Add 0.27 mL of benzyl alcohol (27 units).
    • For 100 mL of water: Add 0.9 mL of benzyl alcohol (90 units).
  • Mix thoroughly: After adding benzyl alcohol, cap the vial and roll it gently until fully mixed.
  • Store properly: Keep in a clean, sealed vial. Shelf life is 30 days after preparation. Store in a cool, dark place — refrigeration is recommended.

Important Safety Notes:

  • Do not use plastic containers if possible; glass is safer to avoid chemical leaching.
  • Sterilize all tools and containers (e.g., with alcohol wipes or boiling).
  • Never use BAC water for oral or intravenous use without medical supervision.
  • This guide is for educational purposes only and should not be used for human or veterinary injection without proper training and sterile technique.
⚠️ Warning: Homemade BAC water carries risks if not prepared under sterile conditions. Always prioritize safety and consult a healthcare professional when possible.

Greetings from Teresópolis.

I got it from this manufacturer.
Www. aguabacteriostaticavendas.shop

Seems legit, had no problem so far. No sing of contamination in my vials after more than a month. Also have seen some positive feedback on their Instagram page

I have some experience with lab practice and don't think it's a good idea to DIY bac water. Maybe seeling water in vials and than pressure cooking the vial before adding the benzil. Still looks sketchy

I don't think this would be any worse than Chinese BAC that people buy from Amazon or their vendors. At least you know what you're getting here. I agree if you can find a good local source that should be better than making your own, for sure. The original instructions were posted by someone who couldn't get it at all where they were in Europe.
