So after a lot of reading and great info from others I'll be starting my retatrutide journey tonight. I'm going to keep it simple and add 1ml of bac water to 10mg vial. I plan on dosing 1mg for the first week anyway and see how I get on. First time on any glp-1 etc. What will be interesting is I suffer from Bile acid issues and others have said that glp-1 have helped greatly and they didn't need to use binders once on a glp-1. I'll post my starting weight and stats tomorrow just to keep track and help others with info.

So just for my records. Male mid 40's. 5'7" Starting weight is 89kg or 196lbs. There is most like 2 lbs of weekend bloat in that which normally disappears come mid week. I took 1mg of or reta at 19:00 yesterday evening. Zero side effects. Not that I'm expecting it but there is no change to appetite so far. It's not a problem because I'm aware it could be weeks before the reta kicks in.

Hey Franky. Welcome to the forum. Are you dosing every week? Why did you choose Reta, given this is your first foray into GLP?

I plan on dosing once per week, but I may adjust this if needs be. I see a lot microdose etc. Still no side effects from my first 1mg dose. I can't really say I have noticed any different appetite wise either. I had breakfast earlier (2 eggs,2 bacon) and I still feel full from that which I suppose is a good thing. Why did I choose reta. I think I started seeing it mentioned on social media a few months ago. It was mentioned that it was better than mounjaro and others. I am aware it's still under trial but I am willing to take the risk. I'm still researching and I've noticed a lot of conflicting information regarding appetite suppression etc. My plan is to up the does until I feel the affects and stay on that dose for as long as possible.

I also started on Reta. I was 340-ish when I started at 1mg/wk. Increased that by 1mg/week until 5mg. Now on 3mg Monday and Thursday. The micro dose was better for myself. Days 5-7 were hungry before! Settling in now. It takes time to build up for me, but I like it! Can even have a little dark liquor in moderation without feeling like I’ve been mortally wounded in a sword fight. Had that problem when I tried Sema a couple years ago. Good luck with it all!!!

I ordered some Reta but wont be using for a while, still have 4 vials of Tirz to finish then I will jump on Reta.
I have heard to reduce Tirz and start Reta slow? The GLP is less on Reta, but GIP is higher with Terz. Reta adds glycogen receptor blocker. If Tirz is working and you have 4 vials left, ride that ride! Don’t stop something that works. Also, I get my terms and verbiage mixed up, ADD is real and pronounced. Read up more on the stage 2 trial of Reta, solid 45mins.

Sides are minimal on Reta for me, but I did beat Sema. Friends gave me a tshirt. A-holes….

It's one week since my first dose of reta. Weight this morning was 86kg so a loss of 3 kg. There are a number if factors to take into consideration though. The starting weight was after a weekend of junk and I can genuinely go up 2 lbs after a weekend like that but it will drop back naturally during the week. I didn't expect my hunger to change considering I started on 1mg and I believe it takes weeks to build up in the system. I have zero side effects which is a positive so far. I did however take another 1mg does on the Thursday that week. I did this because I read reta has a 5 day half life. I plan on doing the same for the next few weeks and then make a decision to up the dose if needs be. I'm in no rush and want to do things right. I in no way tired to eat clean all week. I have chocolate and beer etc. I will however change that this week and going forward. Bread was a major vice if mine. The compulsion to eat bread diminished as the week went on. Happy to say the craving for a beer also diminished.

Any tips or advice for some one that has walked this road would be great.
