About a dollar a piece with free shipping from China. Def look into those because 4mm is the best to avoid any loss. Even if you air and water purge the filters at the end a 13mm is going to have more loss than a 4.
I would just buy them from their official store they still shipped from china for me.I just ordered some ks-tek 3ml vials on Amazon. I wasn't sure about them, but other on-line research was positive.
Depends on how much you are filtering. The filter manufacturers rate their different sizes based on the total amount to be filtered. 4mm is rated for <=1mL, 13mm, 1+mL - <=10mL, 30mm >10mL. https://biologixusa.com/products/syringe-filter has 13mm for about 50 cents each but a box is 100 filters. BTW, with air purge, a 13mm only has a hold back volume of ~1.6iu. HTH.Damnit I was too late...

How do we get the discount?I get them from Injection Shop. They’re a forum sponsor and have a discount for forum members.
I'll definitely use them as well. I actually like their kits better other than no filters. I'll get all stocked up eventuallyI get them from Injection Shop. They’re a forum sponsor and have a discount for forum members.

That's what I've used too.I just ordered some ks-tek 3ml vials on Amazon. I wasn't sure about them, but other on-line research was positive.
Thanks, as many times as I've been there since I joined, I never noticed that. I've ordered from the a couple times.Injection Shop (Supplies & Accessories)

4mm filters will require patience.
13mm filters will only require a .2ml flush. I recon with .6ml then flush with another .6ml and end up with a 1ml solution.
Let me get this straight, as I'm semi confused. If I'm reconing with a total of 3ml, I'd recon with 1.5ml, filter that, then add the remaining 1.5ml to get my 3 total?4mm filters will require patience.

Yes, this is also how I would address the holdback.I'm not @HereKittyKitty, but under your scenario, you would reconstitute first with 1.6mL, filter and then add 1.6mL of just bac and run that through the filter, the extra .2mL is heldback in the filter is pure bac and any bacteria, particulate, etc.
have you ordered from biologixusa previously? was thinking about preorder as says shipment coming in 3/30Depends on how much you are filtering. I am. Even if the 3P tests look clean. Does not take much longer to do since I'm putting the peps into pen cartridges anyway. Are you guys filtering from any and every supplier?
Wanna come help me? 🤣Yes, this is also how I would address the holdback.
Add the amount of the holdback as a split between the recon into the lyophilized vial and the new vial flush OR recon into the lyophilized vial the amount of solution you want to create (say 1ml, 2ml, 2.5ml, etc), filter and then flush the filter with 0.2ml to recoup any trapped peptide.
Ultimately, a 13mm filter takes a 0.2ml flush. Push the additional 0.2ml through the filter at any point in time.
Corollary to this 13mm filter flush, a 4mm filter takes 0.07ml to flush. This tiny increment is another reason I don't use a 4mm filter. LOL
Same. I filter everything because why not screw a filter on there when I'm moving it to a new home anyway. I use a 4mm filter for everything but KLOW, and I do not bother myself about the 0.5 mg max I might lose in the holdup. I got more.I am. Even if the 3P tests look clean.
