As the title states, give me your best tips/tricks for constipation caused by Reta.

I’m actively quitting kratom as I know that surely will exacerbate it, but outside of that, what’s the best methods?

I’m also curious on what should be done regarding lab testing while on Reta/GLPs for the first time, and whether it’s necessary or not.

Thank you guys in advance, the answers are greatly appreciated! 🤙🏻

Kratom definitely is not helping. You need to have a balanced diet while on Reta too many carbs or junk doesn’t help either, prioritising protein and fibre is what I have found helps and along with physical activities. But as Reta is designed to slow digestion you will have slower bowel movements in general even with doing these things.

I have also heard that stacking Reta with BPC 157 and TB 500 has been very helpful with Reta constipation, I even have some in my freezer but I’m yet to try it myself.

In regards to lab testing if you mean bloodwork then in my opinion it’s not necessary. The only thing worth checking is your glucose and simple blood glucose meter will help you keep track of that. If you mean getting your retatrutide tested by a lab like janoshik then that’s entirely up to you, just boils down to do you trust your supplier and have they given you a up to date COA with batch number.

Hope this helps!
