Well, I started Cagrilintide 48 hours ago and have quite the nausea effect. Oh, I mean it works, its hard to get 1,500 calories because I'm not into food; nausea isn't helping either. FYI I did 0.250mg, really dumb for thinking I could start at 1mg (don't!),

I was just wondering if anyone on here has had similar sides like me and if they've countered them with something. Also do sides usually go away if your body is used to it.

I started as well this week. No I'll effects from the .25 and actually felt a bit hungry a few days in so dosed up again at .25 on Tuesday. I am also on a 1.5 sema dose.

didn't have much nausea but the appetite was low. i took electrolytes via liquid iv, also a daily sublingual b12 and daily calcium + vit d. a little fatigue but not bad on days 2-4

Can I ask where did you get it from? I am embarrassed to say that I got mine from Amo about two months ago because they had it in the US and I was impatient. I have felt nothing from the Cagri on day 5 of Tirz starting at .25, .5 and now 1mg. Either this med isn't for me, or this is garbage product from Amo. I did not test.

don't be THAT embarrassed because i got mine from sry. 5mg x 10 vials for $130...good price except for the possible lacing with deadly opioids good luck me

It's np, got it via nexaph

Thank you for this. When I start I will definitely start at .125.

electrolytes i'd say. but if nausea continues you can ask your doc for zofran. tell them you're on compounded glp1 and experiencing nausea, or if you are on tirz or sema from a compounder, ask them for zofran.

Took .5mg this week split. Really didn't feel anything out side of being a bit tired. I'm broken though, haha.

The nausea I could have dealt with. It was the way the fatigue hit and knocked me down like a dead horse. I would def start lower and build up.

I think I'm just a sensitive boy and need to be more serious on fiber and electrolytes. Been having stomach issues since starting; at least nausea has mostly gone away just mild stomach ach, thirst and very minor heartburn.

I also will start spreading meals out because I used to only eat twice and I think they might be too big (since glp's reduce the speed of food being processed).

That’s the direction I have gone as well as not eating 3-4 hrs before bedtime. My body eventually adjusted to the sides but I had to take interim steps to manage them.

I was a non responder at the low doses until I hit .75, but when it hit me it hit me hard. I vomited multiple times at that dose and couldn't eat at all for a couple days. If I could offer any advice to the non responders it would be to take it slow and keep in mind this drug had a long half life, so it will take a while to fully kick in.

One week update: The first 5 days was bad nausea, stomach discomfort and flu like state at .250mg dose. It was really annoying but worked so good that I was struggling to keep my daily calories in check especially the protein. I did a weigh in on the day I took it and in the week I dropped 10lbs. Ofc some of it is water weight from water so i'll keep you all updated.

This time I took .125mg dose and so far has given slight light headed feeling but nothing too bad.

Wow

Thanks for letting us follow along in yall's journey!

I took my first dose (.33mg) on Monday morning, I had some fullness that afternoon. But yesterday I had good appetite suppressant and minor today. I too consider myself a non-respondent. Sema didn't do anything for me and tirz had minimum effects at 15mg, so I'm hoping this does the trick before trying reta.
I got some MOTS-C, mostly just incase the fatigue sets in but it would do good for some extra energy.

Good to hear the Nexaph cagri is working. I have a kit that I am setting aside for future use, possibly in tandem with Reta. For my nausea due to Sema, I've found that my food choices are as important as keeping hydrated with electrolytes. I have to limit my meals to one or two sides at most. So oatmeal for breakfast, chicken breast for lunch, etc. And in my case, definitely no eating in the 3 hours before sleep.

I split it to 0.125 between two days and didn't have sides. All normal mostly.

Will try a single dose next time.

Next week I’ll do the .33mg again. The following week, I’ll consider increasing. I only have a single vial of it for now. I didn’t want 10 vials if I didn’t respond but so far so good. At the end of the month I’ll consider a kit, likely from Nexaph too.
