I'm on tirz, I like it, I'm not thinking of switching. But I keep seeing that reta has better clinical trial results, and has a third mechanism of action. But I also see people say it doesn't have great appetite suppression compared to tirz or sema.

If it's not suppressing appetite, what is it doing to make you eat less and lose weight? How does it feel? Especially compared to tirz if you've tried both

Absolutely no suppression from 2mg or 4mg Reta. I was on 7.5mg Tirz then decided to stack with reta as a last push for the last 15lbs.

Idk what or how Reta does it, but those last 15lbs FELL OFF. I was dosing Tirz every 5 days, reta 2 days after Tirz.

I think if you don't struggle with overthinking about food, reta might be a solid single choice for you. But if you do, it's a good option to stack with a good suppression.

If your looking for something different then Tirz, Survo is a great place to start too

For me, Reta has stronger appetite suppression than Tirz. It also seems to punish me if I do eat, making me immediately regret my choices. I don’t get nauseous or anything. I just feel disgusting after I eat more than absolutely necessary, so I focus on my protein intake and more nutrient dense food. It makes me not enjoy eating like I used to.

Less fatigue with Reta than Tirz as well. I have never tried Sema, so nothing for me to compare it to.

I dropped 5mg of T and went to 2mg of R for 3 weeks now. Haven't lost any weight in that time, and I'm eating a little more than I was before. Moving up to 4mg soon though.

I tried both Sema and tirz-had severe gout and stomach cramps from both. Literally gout every 2 weeks vs 1-2 times per year prior. With Reta I have good appetite suppression, no breakfast, healthy smoothie for lunch and normal dinner. Side effects- some insomnia 2x per week. Normal slow digestion- energy levels have been high. Down 21 from 243 starting weight in six weeks. Currently on 2mg grey market Reta.
