Omggggg one day they came AND NEVER LEFT. WTF antacids don't help I even read somewhere something in sweet tarts help. Nope. These mfs about to run me out my own damn house. Like seriously WTF

This is going to sound weird but the one time I had them, eating olives and sipping on the juice from the jar helped. I think they happen because your digestion is slowed way down, and the additional acidity helps break stuff down. Not to mention masks the taste/smell.... But the biggest help was backing down the dose. I jumped from 5mg to 7.5mg and bam, sulfur burps. The next week I backed down to 5.5mg and haven't had issues since. Now I go up in 0.5mg increments.

Some ideas:

  • Some foods are very worse than others, so look how you can tweak your diet.
  • digestive enzymes are good option to try
  • sometimes gas also causes pressure and indigestion, and you get burps. try simethicone pills/chewable.
  • not sure what anti-acids you've tried, just chewable calcium or something more potent like an H2 blocker (famotidine)? You should talk to your doctor about the options. The next step would be a PPI (omeprazole) but they aren't a good idea for the long term, so be wary. I'd stick to daily famotidine.
