Omggggg one day they came AND NEVER LEFT. WTF antacids don't help I even read somewhere something in sweet tarts help. Nope. These mfs about to run me out my own damn house. Like seriously WTF

This is going to sound weird but the one time I had them, eating olives and sipping on the juice from the jar helped. I think they happen because your digestion is slowed way down, and the additional acidity helps break stuff down. Not to mention masks the taste/smell.... But the biggest help was backing down the dose. I jumped from 5mg to 7.5mg and bam, sulfur burps. The next week I backed down to 5.5mg and haven't had issues since. Now I go up in 0.5mg increments.

Some ideas:

  • Some foods are very worse than others, so look how you can tweak your diet.
  • digestive enzymes are good option to try
  • sometimes gas also causes pressure and indigestion, and you get burps. try simethicone pills/chewable.
  • not sure what anti-acids you've tried, just chewable calcium or something more potent like an H2 blocker (famotidine)? You should talk to your doctor about the options. The next step would be a PPI (omeprazole) but they aren't a good idea for the long term, so be wary. I'd stick to daily famotidine.

No help with famo. (I hardly even eat) I know that's not good but it's the truth I damn sure aren't getting my daily 100g protein.

I hope it was black olives? I like both but Def black. I'm not on a high dose I do about 4mg 2x wk.

Green olives. It's the acid in the brine that helped. Maybe the salt too? I've heard eating pickles works as well. 4mg 2x a week is a pretty good dose. GLP-1 Plotter shows that 4mg tirz every 3.5 days comes out to a peak of just under 10mg and low of just under 8mg.

I've had serious problems with this. Bismuth Subsalicylate (in pill form) completely fixed it for me.

I've even had mornings where I woke up feeling that I'm starting to have the burps - I just took a half-pill of Bismuth and it was completely gone after 2 hours.

Shit. I really like black olives 🤦🤣I mean yeah, but damn this wasn't a thing with brand, which makes no sense bc of how they even exist...

I've been experiencing this same issue!

I had some pulled pork for New Years Day and ever since I've had to walk around with chewable calcium. At the slightest hint of acidity I pop one right away.

Thankfully they make pepto in pill form now. That chalky crap used to make me gag when I was litte...

I am literally appalled at the fact of how I roll over in bed and just feel it building then BOOM! I was in such pain last sat night(went out for dinner) I fantasized about shoving a vacuum down my throat 😳if only it were that easy 🤦

I am not currently experiencing the sulphur burps, however, I remember them as being awful.
