It's been about 10 months (1 yr on 10/8).. i"m down 57lbs.. and feeling super down on myself.. I know it's decent loss but, I've been overweight weight since day one(literally was like 11lb baby.) And ive been stalled for months now. MONTHS (like 3).. .. even when I was on meth for hella years i was overweight... (clean more than 12yrs) anyway..

All my weight in in my stupid belly.. and I cannot get rid of my double chin..

Suggestions??
I am thinking of adding cargi w/ the triz.. since i just started 15mg..

Food noise is not strong but its like I wont eat enough during day because im not getting hunger cues

Then I am hungry at night.. I know I fucked up my metabolism with the years of drug abuse.. and I've always barely eaten during day then i eat at night.. I know its my biggest problem and always has been..i dont know hiw to fix it
. . after being on triz for almost a year it feels like it is not working any more.. like i feel like I am back to my pre-triz habits..

I want to get as much out of the triz as possible.. since it know I still have a hell of a long way to go.. .

Anything better than Cargi?

RETa will be after I can get as much out of triz as I can..

Do i need to clear my system and start over??

Are you injecting every 5 or 7 days? I would say if you are at 7 days, go to 5 days to accommodate the Tirz half life. If you are already at 5, titrate up to 17.5mg. People are are taking 20mg every 5 days with no issues.
Solid advise IMO. This was my approach. I was at 15mg weekly and am now doing 10mg every 5 days. It seems like my sweet spot (for now) I have Survo in the fridge for if I max out on the Tirz eventually.

Congrats on your weight loss progress and your sobriety🙂 you should be proud of yourself. You have lots of options left.

I usually adjust with hunger levels.. especially when im about to start my period..

I just started 15mg like 3 days ago..
I was thinking about doing 20mg to..

Thanks! I know any progress is good but damn... .. now I have to look up servo..

Hell the drugs were easier to quit than the food
. Lol.. I got pregnant, and had my kid and from the point I decided I was done.. getting off dope was easy..

Quitting cigs has been harder than the dope(im working on that as we speak)..

Oh shit... my stall has essentially been as long as I've been trying to quit ciggs... I wonder if that has anything to do with it???

Im hearing ppl are doing really well adding cargi to glp-1...

I can relate. I use smokeless tobacco and have quit several times.

You should click the forums tab and go to medications (GLPs and Research ones) and do some research. You have the advantage of reading others experiences and from there you can plot a course for yourself.

Congrats on the clean time and weight loss. I just celebrated 39 years clean and sober. Two and a half years ago I quit nicotine. I was down to the 2 mg nicotine pouches. I talked my Doctor into giving me Ozempic for weightloss and pre diabetes. After being nicotine free for 1 year I had not lost any weight or gained any weight. A year later my insurance stopped covering Ozempic. After stopping Ozmpic I started gaining weight like crazy. Then I got tirz through a compounding pharmacy. Started losing weight fast. My tirz dose was 15 mg per week and lost 40 pounds. Then the weight loss stalled. I bumped up my dosage to 20 mg and started losing 1 to 2 pounds of a week again. Now I am within 10 pounds of my target weight. I am in the process of figuring out a grey maintenance dosage. I feel super good and work out all the time. My brain's reward system works like it should. I feel super good from accomplishing tasks like swimming or hiking rather than using nicotine.

I’d try upping protein and spreading it through the day - even if you’re not hungry. Skipping meals then eating at night keeps your body stuck in that old pattern. Aim for 100–120g protein per day, easy stuff like shakes, greek yogurt, eggs.

Congrats and be patient. Protein drinks later in the day (60% of daily requirements in 11oz).
Try Cagri with Tirz. For me, and many folks, it worked wonders, 0 appetite. Many smells became intolerable. Cagri is a dual amylin and a good companion to all GLP1.

I would titrate up slowly, and stay on Tirz longer. I have seen folks using Tirz for 2 years to reach their goal. Its an experiment. Not everyone reacts the same.

I would be hungry when I got from a not so good source, try a different source, then worked like magic again. Did the hunger start when you got a new order of Tirz?

How are you doing???

Hey! Don't give up! The reason we are all here is because we are doing our own research. Why? Because one size isn't for all!!! Tirz every 5 days...YES!👍 I also decided to add some sema every 7 days because the Glp1 seems to target addictive issues in the brain and that helped me to nix my nightly bottle of wine. 😏
I have 5 grandkids, I'm 53 and a year ago I thought I was going to die early. My doctor put me on my 3rd blood pressure med and I started a $500 a month injection that put me into debt for 7 months but I gave up my wine, changed my eating habits and said HELLO to me again. 3 months in this grey world, here I am, I'M IN CONTROL and so ARE YOU! That's why you're here. 🥰🤝

Perhaps set an alarm to eat something at the times you want to be hungry. Force yourself to eat at last a little something. Even if its just a serving of yogurt or a protein bar. I would think if you are consistent about it your body will adjust. But even if it doesn't I don't think when you eat matters but its what you eat. Are you just eating snack foods at night? Well make sure you have healthy snack item ready and waiting. Especially stuff with protein.

Worth a shot.

Oh, quitting cigarettes is no joke. I gained so much weight when I did it in 2010. No GLP-1s back then either. I don't remember how many months I went through it, but I used the patches and as I gradually stopped using even the lowest dose patch, one day I just didn't want a cigarette. That day will come for you too.

You do realize that you reduced your dose on the 5-day dosing schedule correct?

I agree with TooBigtoFail's advice. I was dosing Tirz every 5 days but when I added Cagri (starting at .25mg and titrating to current 1mg.), I had to go back to weekly Tirz dosing because I would forget to eat. Currently Tirz 8.5mg. and then Cargi 1mg. four days later. Works like a charm for me. YMMV

Hi. What I am about to share might not hold true for you.

It has to do with the difference between subcutaneous fat and visceral fat.

My RS is a 61 y.o. male who, on June 1, 2025, weighted 232 lbs, BMI of 31, and not really an excessive amount of fat anywhere but his belly. He has never been involved in any pep research before whatsoever SO he had to discover how and, more importantly, where, to inject. He was informed to pinch his belly fat at least two inches away from his navel. My RS could not pinch ANY belly fat anywhere on or near his belly so he googled this problem and discovered the difference between sub-q fat and visceral fat (VAT) which is located deep within our bodies and surrounds our organs and is responsible for a great deal of higher risks in life including cardiovascular.

My RS was informed that typical GLPs would help decrease VAT but not specifically and my RS wanted to ensure that VAT (and its increased risks) was targeted and at 61, and after 2 years of attempting weight loss through a very healthy diet and exercise already and losing zero weight through that effort, my RS did not want to trust that GLPs alone would decrease VAT enough to lower cardiovascular risk and other organ failures so he did some more research and discovered Tesamorelin.

Tesamorelin is FDA approved and prescribed specifically for VAT reduction albeit in a super-specific population which is why it is not commonly used by doctors for fat-reduction. I am not going to go into all of those specfics. They are very easily researched.

What I will say is that my RS has been stacking 2mg of tesa, 5 days on, and 2 days off with 7.5mg of tirz since 8/1/25 and has had a 2" reduction in waist size (measured at the navel), lost 11 lbs, and can now grab a handful of sub-q fat from his belly and all of this since 8/1. On top of that his critical lipid panel levels have decreased by 50% also.

I should add that I do in fact still eat. 🙂 Quite a bit actually - - just not anywhere near what I used too. Hyper-focus on quality proteins, veggies, and QUALITY complex-carbs. And gym almost every day fasted.

I do see now how and why Tesamorelin is not prescribed directly for weight loss because it would in fact be misleading however for deep, internal, VAT reduction it is working a wonder for this RS.

CAVEAT/DISCLAIMER: This RS also recognizes that VAT can easily return post-research if healthy lifestyle habits are not maintained or, in fact, increased.

Hope this helps in some way and best of luck on your journey!
