I just wanted to write down my experience for the other noobs who are trying to learn this side of the grey market. I have never had any interest in crypto or day trading or anything like that. So I was pretty frustrated to find out all they grey vendors use it. I really didn't want to have to learn a whole new intricate time consuming crypto hobby just to fund my already intricate time consuming biohacking hobby.

After spending a couple days fumbling around with Exodus, reading all the threads and tutorials, and still not being able to get it to work, a Friend recommended crypto.com. It feels like a lot lighter of a wallet that makes it easy to load money and pay vendors. I didn't have to mess around with buying on other sites/apps and transferring, didn't have to buy separate gas or anything, and it was pretty easy to set up. I guess it's not as useful for the people who are into crypto trading, but for just loading money and paying vendors, it was really easy.

Made my first purchase tonight and got a confirmation that the USDC I used was received shortly after I sent it. Just clicked the button to buy USDC, paid using my debit card (they also take credit, bank transfers, apple pay, and paypal), and had the money within a min or two. Adding the vendors wallet tp my contact took a min to figure out but there are 100's of tutorials on youtube. It was far less daunting as it seemed reading all the Exodus guides and posts.

I don't know if I'm just dumb when it comes to all this or it's just that I don't have the motivation to learn something that I have no interest in, but if you are like me and struggling with the crypto side of this, give crypto.com a try.

Thanks for posting. I've also been using Grey vendors that take not crypto (cc, PayPal, western union lol). Guess I'll check this out because there are more options available if you pay with crypto.

Lol. Yep. I'm an illiterate buffoon when it comes to crypto now. I still have my Coinbase acct from years ago but for whatever reason ( one reason: O L D 😬 ) I can't/couldn't completely access it again. Meh.
I downloaded an Exodus wallet, Blockchain account and yet can't get it to accept ANY FORM of payment ( I'm not typing my bank info for payment. You can have my debit card but that's as far as I go ) so like Eastwood said, " A man's gotta know his limitations". I'm spent.
I did PP with JEEP days before they said NO MORE PAYPAL. 😭 Large selection.
Anyway thanks. Like "Ash" said, I'm going to take a look. I'm sure their fees are higher but...pfft.

I have wasted so much time with exodus having the same problems as you. I just downloaded the crypto app and will probably have to watch some videos on how it works. My coinbase is not allowing me to purchase/buy at this moment !!

I’ll try that. Same experience as others, I’ve tried to buy BTC via various means (what Exodus offers, Cash App, PayPal), but in the end my bank always refused (debit card), apparently.

when I purchased with debit card my bank sent me a text for suspicious activity so I had to let them know that it was me so it wasn't declined because it comes across as crypto.com.

Made my second purchase today using it. I bought BTC instead of USDC this time and my bank flagged it. But I just responded to a text saying it was legit and it went through. Gotta say, the fee's for transferring BTC was crazy high compared to USDC. $40 for a $300 purchase. Also I guess the free loading from a debit card was just for the first 7 days, so I got dinged with a small upcharge when I bought the BTC. But with the crazy transfer fee, I think I'll stick with the stablecoins from here on out.

I'm at the F IT stage of crypto now. I KNOW THERE ARE PLENTY of instruction videos for idiots, such as meself ( but if I can't figure it out on me own, it ain't for me so save your breath, geniuses ) but even crypto.com says EVERY CC or my debit card ain't right. ( I forget the term they used...something like I was giving the wrong card info )
So yes, it's paypal, CC or nothin' for me. Limits my choices and I damned sure am done with getting the NO LUBE treatment from US vendors astronomical prices. ( though I say "good on them" for staking a claim in this wild wild west peptide opportunity )
I'm ok with that....kind of. I liked JEEP's large selection compared to CHP. Oh well.

Have you tried having someone send you a PayPal, and then sending that to your crypto.com. My bank was limited the first month or so to 100$ a week, so I added PayPal, and I couldn’t get PayPal to accept any bank sends, even though it links to my bank account for sending any money out. Somehow when I send money from my bank it doesn’t know what I’m trying to do. So my work around was having my husband send me PayPal’s.
(I didn’t explain crypto, I explained PayPal 🤓😏!)

Same for me as far as credit cards are concerned. I only had luck with a purchase with my debit card and it was flagged but I replied to the text and said it was a legit transaction and it went through.
