Day one

I really don’t understand why people are starting on Retatrutide. You have nowhere to go once you max it out, with the exception of adding Cagri.
For me it was the crushing fatigue, severe constipation and that none of my food tasted good anymore. If I was ok with sleeping 16 of 24 hours and being disgusted by the taste of all of my formerly favorite foods plus the digestive issues, I’d go back. I was losing faster on low dose Tirz.

Week Two

Well I suppose it's that time. As of this morning I am down 11lbs. I've been weighing right after waking up and going to the bathroom every morning for the most consistent daily weight. Averaging 1.5lbs a day, but I am in a MASSIVE deficit, as well as cranking up my daily activity. I've essentially cut out all bread products, still eating pasta a fair bit, but trying to stick to a mostly protein and fat diet. Still plenty of carbs for energy, but from different sources. Almost like a dirty Keto or filthy carnivore diet. But I have always enjoyed beef, and have found it to be pretty easy skipping a bun or rolling up sandwich meat with some mustard in the middle.

Throughout this week, I didn't feel much. No mention able side effects aside from my BMs being more frequent, but lower volume than typical. I used to be a one a day guy, but now it's more like 5 or 6 times. Maybe it's the protein. Cravings, hunger, and urges to eat were kind of hit and miss. The first couple days I didn't feel hungry at all, but was able to eat just fine. Day 3 and 4 I noticed my appetite had lowered to a point of being very indecisive on what I wanted to eat. Day 5 was a very lazy day for me and I ended up snacking out of convenience, reaching over and stealing some of whatever my girlfriend was munching on while we were watching TV, but I actually had normal "hunger" feeling that day as well. The feeling of an empty stomach, or hunger growls. Then, yesterday and today were my biggest deficit days, I felt like I was struggling to find motivation to eat today. I even made a batch of homemade rice crispy treats at 100cal each to try and be excited about some kind of sweet treat, but impressively ate one and individually bagged up the rest for later.

So, first week impressions are solid. I did another 0.5 today, and as of now I think I will be staying at 0.5 for the foreseeable future. It seems like it's doing plenty for me at this dose. Even if it's all in my head, I'm staying in a deficit and have voluntarily gone on walks twice this week because I hadn't hit my step count or activity goals for the day on my watch.

According to my body composition scale, my muscle mass hasn't changed. However, I know it isn't a certain measurement. Regardless, I do feel better day to day, and I'm excited to see the results of week Two.

Thanks you, everyone, for any insight or information!Screenshot_20250618_002133_Samsung Health.jpg
