De minimus ends 8/29

What’s everyone think about de minumus ending on 8/29 ? Seems like it’s going to make things very difficult.

I’m pretty sure pharma companies are pushing this so everyone is dependent on them for glp-1’s. Very frustrating

It won't change much. De minimus was suspended earlier this year, in case you weren't aware.

I don't think this is just BP. It is my opinion that the current administration wants to collect as little from direct taxation of the citizenry and as much from the producers and importers as possible. They do not realize, and possibly, do not care if the end consumer is dependent on the overseas producer because the item is not made in the US. All they care about is sucking as much money in as possible so it looks like $0 in taxes.
