So I see that there are places where you can get Korean Botox and people really seem to like it. I initially characterized that as not relevant to my interests because I don't think that's a risk I feel ok with taking, but I saw someone in a group say to someone else "and if you're nervous, start with underarm, that's hard to screw up." Ok well NOW you have my attention, because the only reason I don't get underarm Botox is because it's expensive.

All my usual learn-about-this sources are mostly for peptides; I don't even know where to go to START reading about people doing grey Botox. Can anyone recommend a good community or resource set that I could go start poking through or lurking in?

Whats the different between reg & Korean Botox?

r/DIYHEAVEN on Reddit is very helpful for all things beauty DIY. There are also some really helpful groups on Telegram that are a mixture of product sourcing, tips/tricks/Q&A, and shenanigans, of course (as any proper TG community should be full of). I’d be happy to DM you some links to some of the beauty groups on TG if you’d like.

You know as much as I do, except from the context I'm seeing, the Korean stuff is supposed to be "better" (I don't know the "than what.")

Go to Rumble and search "underarm botox."
Thank you, I will!

I'd love that, thank you!

I learned the most from Reddit diy, and the mappings from tiktok of all places. From a couple or drs. I use Meamo to buy the tox, they are or were just having a sale. You need to use wise to pay if you grab any tox.
If you’ve had it done before, you kind of know the spots because you can see injection dots if you take a pic of the area. I’ve never looked up armpit tox, but I did do some Lipo v in the armpit boob area. Not scary, if you mess up, no real harm.
I used the search Reddit feature to ask questions and look for posts, then joined good sub reddits.

It never even occurred to me that reddit might be where to start; I'm so used to thinking of reddit as a place where what I'm doing isn't allowed to be discussed! Thank you.

Botox is a trademarked brand name for the generic botulinum toxin type A. It is owned by a huge pharmaceutical company called Allergan. It’s like saying Kleenex instead of tissue.

Do you need to buy Kleenex specifically to wipe your nose? No, not really. Korean pharma is extremely reliable and offers these products in a wider variety and at a great price advantage.

Make sure you read up on the different effects of each brand, though, as there are differences. Not all brands will give you the same effects. Some kick in slower or faster, some are stronger or weaker, etc.

In terms of recommended sources, DIY Heaven on Telegram/Discord is great. The owner of the group, Jay, even has a Rumble channel where he regularly uploads tutorials. Go to their website, diyheavenhub dot com, to access the latest links for their groups and socials. They are also active on Reddit.

There is another Reddit group that is quite helpful: r/DIYaesthetics.

There are many more groups on Telegram, but I would probably start with DIY Heaven and branch out from there.

In terms of the armpit area being risk-free, it is harder to screw up, but not entirely risk-free.

I have done DIY Botox for a while, as I have chronic migraines and severe TMJ. I’ve spent a good portion of my life paying a ridiculous amount for my quarterly shots, but after a doctor botched my Botox and caused semi-permanent damage, I decided to do it myself.

Lastly, Innotox is the most beginner-friendly Korean brand, as it is pre-diluted. You don’t have to buy smaller IUs, as toxins can be frozen and reused. I normally buy 200 IUs, as it’s a much more economical choice than 50 or 100 IUs. It’s a lot less scary and complicated if you’re already pinning yourself with peptides.

Idk at home botox is in the same department for me as adipotide and dnp. Do they work? No doubt. Can you get it? Totally. Do i think im qualified enough to fully do that myself? Probably not. Im no leonid rogozov
