Do you add a bit more tirz to account for any air bubbles and product left in the syringe?

I notice I always have a small air bubbles in my shot before administering, and a tiny bit of leftover product afterwards as well. do you account for that by adding more (maybe a half to one unit more) to the syringe than your dose or no?

I don’t. It’s figure they’re too small to affect much.

I still often see a tiny bit of air although less than in the Zepbound pens. The remaining bubbles are too small for me to adjust the units.

If you are concerned about this, you can always load a pen and use that. No air.

Agreed. The bubble doesn’t annoy me enough either to commit to multiple pens. If someone is concerned about it it’s the only solution I can think of that avoids air entirely.

That never worked for me, it sticks in place. So i squirt it back into the vial and redraw, the 2cd draw is only teeny bubble.

A pen is still a needle. A much finer one at that. You don’t feel the injection at all.

No. I use EasyTouch 1ml syringes for injections and never noticed any leftover. 3ml syringes yes, but they are only used to draw.

I use a scale (+/- 1mg precision) with every vial and a quick test was inconclusive, as the difference between a new and used syringe, was within the margin of error (0.2u).
Unless your brand has a poor design, I do not see the 'leftover', as meaningful.

If you are injecting with only 10u, then 1u leftover is possibly 10% variance. If you are concerned, then add 1u. I inject with 45-50u (per Eli Lilly specs).

I am more concerned about my eyes barely noticing the difference between a 47u and 48u mark on a syringe. For the bubbles: are you maybe drawing too fast, when loading the syringe, and generating micro bubbles? It takes practice but I always get bubbles out, without pushing it back into the vial (which is not recommended).
