Drop Your Numbers

I reached my third and final goal of 190 last weekend. Now I have to figure out what's next. I just received some Cagri to help ward off any munchies as I start to titrate down on Reta. I still plan to settle around 4-5 mg for the other benefits. That's the plan anyway. I have a large amount to last a long time. I don't even care what newer GLPs become available because it's like it was made for me. Now I have to focus on strength training to rebuild the muscle lost during the weight loss process.
Yess! 💯Congrats! Good strategy with the Cagri for titrating down, I’m thinking I may do that as well once I get to final goal.
You’ll have them newbie gains to look forward to 💪

(Tirz/NAD+/SS31/KLOW)
Start: 03/2026: 228
Current: 05/2026: 208
Realistic Goal: 190
"shoot for the stars" goal: 175 w/ abs

Im averaging about 1.5lb/week and to be honest, it kind of blows my mind how effective some of these methods are. I havent been sub 200 in over a decade and that is having tried next to everything; adopting intermittent fasting, cutting out bread/carbs from my diet, daily exercise/ weight training, you name it. Started Tirz and the weight just started going down. NGL though, the fatigue and anhedonia kind of sucks, but I just have to remind myself that I han see my hips again. I noticed that I can see a sligh line between my shoulders and pecks. Even at my lowest weight in high school (165lbs), I never really had abs. I had a really tone/flat stomach, but honestly that was due to me just straight not eating. I know it is unrealistic to set a goal that surpasses that, however, that is my "shoot for the stars" goal. If I aim for that, and hit my actual goal, it still gives me more to work for. For anyone reading this, dont be discouraged if you dont see huge jumps or immediate results.I get what it is like to try everything you can think of and get nowhere. This stuff takes time; like months. Any progress is still progress. It doesnt matter if it is 20 lbs or 2lbs, just keep moving foward.
That’s a solid mindset right there. The weight loss is great, but honestly the bigger thing is finally seeing progress after years of spinning your wheels doing “all the right things” and getting nowhere. A lot of people don’t understand how defeating that gets mentally.

20 lbs in a couple months while averaging 1.5 lbs/week is actually a really sustainable pace too. Fast enough to stay motivated, slow enough that your body has time to adjust. And seeing definition come back in areas you haven’t noticed in years is a huge win.

The fatigue/anhedonia part is real though. It hit me and I was a zombie for a few weeks. I upped my carb intake and hydration while making sure to get exercise: Today I feel great/normal again. Hopefully as your body adapts and begins to stabilize a bit.

Also nothing wrong with having a “shoot for the stars” goal. Sometimes you need a big target to keep pushing forward. Even if you never hit 175 shredded-with-abs status, getting leaner, healthier, more mobile, and under 200 again after a decade is already a massive accomplishment.

Good post. The last part especially is something people need to hear more often: progress is progress.

Just Keep Moving Forward!👊

New weigh in tomorrow

Started with 2,5mg Tirzepatide. Currently on 5mg and will move up to 7,5mg next week.

Start weight: 255lb
Current weight: 174lb
Timeframe: Feb 20th 2025 → Present (I've been at around 174lb since March, though)
Protocol: started on 2.5mg tirz. Worked slowly up the doses.
Now → Week 2 of 15mg tirz

Looking to make the switch to reta, or lower my tirz and do a combo of low dose reta with low/mid dose tirz (edit to clarify I'm not asking for sources, I'm here to read about what others have experienced when trying reta if they're long term tirz users who have had a plateau, or basically figure out how to get the scale moving again.)

Tirz - first shot was 2/7/26

Started with an extremely low dose of 1.5mg for two weeks. Titration only when needed and am currently pinning 6mg weekly. I’m feeling fantastic! I’ve recently added NAD & GHK CU (not for weight loss)
That’s awesome progress!
41 pounds since February is incredible. I like that you took the slow-and-steady approach with dosing instead of rushing to increase it. Sounds like you found a dose that’s working well for you. Glad you’re feeling fantastic, and hopefully the NAD+ and GHK-Cu help with recovery and overall wellness too. Keep it up! 🤛

I have my official starting numbers, after doing my first dose of reta yesterday!
F/38, SW: 148, GW:130.
Yesterday did a Evolt scan (Bioelectric) because that's whats available at my gym - I know they're not the most accurate, but I like it for keeping track of progress.
Lean body mass: 99lb
skeletal muscle mass: 48lb
Body fat: 33.1%

I lift heavy a few times a week, so hoping to increase muscle mass while decreasing fat. Weight is not my most important number.
Looks like you’ve got a great baseline to compare against. Even if the Evolt numbers aren’t perfectly accurate, using the same machine under similar conditions is a good way to track trends. Since you’re already lifting heavy, focusing on body composition instead of just the scale makes a lot of sense. Wishing you the best on your Reta journey and looking forward to seeing how those numbers change over the next few months! 👊

Height: 5’9

Goal weight 165

Ran tirz 4 1/2 months then switched to Reta for last 2 months . Gonna go back to tirz for last month. Never went higher than 4mg on tirz but split dose it twice a week. Currently split dosing 6mg of Reta.
I never got the appetite suppression with Reta like I did Tirz. And weight loss slowed down significantly with Reta. ( I jumped on the band wagon). But in defense I eat whatever I want on Reta (in moderation still) and was doing a strict diet on Tirz. Lost all but last 6 lbs on Tirz. I’m close to my goal weight and may go slightly below it just because. Plan was to start weaning after I hit my goal and what comes off after that is just a bonus. I feel like I’ve completely 180’d my eating habits in the past 6 1/2 months and should be able to control myself better. If not I got about 5 years if each tucked into the freezer and I’ll re visit them.
That’s an incredible transformation.
243 to 168 is a huge accomplishment. It also highlights how much diet contributes to success. Sounds like Tirz was the better fit for appetite control in your case, while Reta gave you more freedom with food but slower progress. The biggest win, though, is changing your eating habits over the last 6½ months. That’s what gives you the best chance of maintaining your results long-term. Congrats, and I hope those last few pounds come off just as smoothly. 👍

Update, as of this morning 168.2lbs. BMI down 1.9, and BF down 2.3%.
Hey Brother! Those body composition numbers are just as encouraging as the weight. A 2.3% drop in body fat is a solid improvement, and seeing your BMI continue to trend down is a nice bonus. Keep doing what you’re doing; you’re getting closer to your goal every update. ☝️

I guess at some point I should do an update on my stats…

Started Reta 14th of April 2026. Just about 2 months in! And already not obese anymore.
Reta is amazing. It doesn't feel difficult to eat less. Previous weightloss attempts my mind was constant "don't eat this, don't eat that". And now... I can eat (or it feels allowed in my head) anything I want, I just don't want to eat anything I want anymore!
I don't plan to ever stop with Reta. I feel much better, less inflammation in my damaged knee as wel.
For me this is for life!

Started 10mg Tirzepatide on March 18th at 204 after a year on Wegovy heaviest was 237 several years ago. This morning I was 174.2. 30 pounds in three months is incomprehensible but I am so grateful. Haven’t had more than 2,000 on even one day in that time and try to stay right around 1500.

I added reta after plateauing on tirz. It's working beautifully, no sides. I keep the doses low bc I'm in no great hurry and I'm still seeing progress.

currently taking 12mg every 5 days. this month has been very slow in terms of weight loss, so i went from 8mg to 12mg for the past 2 doses. i do need to buy smaller sweatpants & shirts soon too, cause these have become very baggy. i'll be posting a proper thread of my before/after on the third of july without the shirt on as seen below. my goal weight is low 170's, or maybe even going the distance til i see visible abs.

i don't lift or jog, or take any other drug besides reta. i live an extremely sedentary lifestyle. the weight loss has been absolutely insane for such a small cost.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I think I'm going to lower my tirz and bring in 0.5 reta and see how that helps. I was considering cagri but that seems to cause bad fatigue and I already have severe fatigue thanks to a health issue.

Sounds very similar to me. I have 5lbs more I want. Then I'll start backing down. Still unsure of a maintenance dose, it'll likely be 4mg, but we'll get it. I, like will stay on Reta forever due other benefits I've noticed. I have a crap load of Reta, so no worries on that. I definitely need to start some weight stuff to tone up and gain some muscle.

120 lbs gone in 14 months (reached my goal "215 lbs" almost to the day!!)
Re-evaluating everything now... However, I continue to take Tirz, 7.5mg every 5 days

My journey consisted of:
Restricted calorie intake (1560cals/day),
IF (18/6 mostly)
Limited my daily carb intake to 50-80g...

I stuck with this religiously for the 1st 8 months....then allowed myself some "cheat bites" here and there!! Yes...Cheat bites!! Haha... I've loosened up😆since meeting my goal!
I didn't have an exercise plan, and didn't spend any time in the gym...On occasion, when i felt i needed it, I walked, and rode my bike! Recently adding some strength training...but struggling to stay consistent with it!!
I think fasting, and consistency was key to my success....I've gained and lost so many times in my 50 yrs....I think i finally figured it all out!!
That’s an incredible turnaround. Going from an A1c of 11.0 to 5.4 while losing 120 lbs is a huge accomplishment. It wasn’t just the Tirz; you put in the work with calorie control, fasting, carb restriction, and staying consistent for over a year. That’s the part a lot of people overlook. Now that you’re adding some strength training, you’ll probably benefit even more by preserving muscle as you move into maintenance. Congrats on earning those results! 👏💪

Started at 6'1" 328lbs March 7th. I hit 298lbs today. Good to see progress!

Great progress! Almost 30 lbs down in about three months is something to be proud of. The graph is exactly what you want to see; not perfectly straight, but consistently trending down despite the normal day-to-day fluctuations. Breaking under 300 is a huge milestone. Keep stacking those small wins, and you’ll be surprised how quickly you’re looking back at 298 the same way you’re looking back at 328 now. Keep it going! 💪

20 pounds down

Also on Wolverine for some hip and gut issues 💕
That’s awesome; 20 lbs down is a great start! 👏 You’re already moving in the right direction, and every pound lost takes some stress off your joints. Hopefully the Wolverine stack helps get those hip and gut issues under control too. My RS is on KLOW and aches and pains have subsided. Keep building on the momentum, and before you know it you’ll be celebrating the next 20! 💪💕

(SurgeryWeight) 315 and had gastric bypass. I lost major weight (227) and unfortunately had some regain this year.

(Starting weight) 247 and high blood pressure. I got hospitalized. In ICU for four days. This was March of this year. Started GLP in April.

(Current weight) After a stack and Tirz I weighed in at 206 pounds this morning!!! Wow!!! It’s the smallest I’ve been since 2001.

I’m at the gym 5-6 days a week. I feel great. Starting some other supps to help my health progress forward as well.

26 pounds in just 5 weeks is a huge milestone. 🎉

Keep building on those healthy habits and don’t get discouraged if the pace slows a bit. The first few weeks are often the fastest, but steady, sustainable progress is what leads to long-term success.

Congrats on being 26 pounds lighter already, and here’s to the next milestone! 💪

I’ve really enjoyed following your journey over these last several months. Every update showed another goal getting checked off, and now you’ve reached the one you set out to achieve. That’s something to be proud of.

I like that you’re already thinking beyond the number on the scale. Maintenance and rebuilding strength are where the real long-term work begins, and it sounds like you’ve got a plan instead of just hoping for the best. Wishing you the same success in this next chapter as you’ve had getting here. Congrats on an incredible accomplishment! 💪👏
