Epitalon usage and effects

I'm on day two of epitalon, 1mg a day. I swore I would finish out the nad+/SS-31/Mots-C mitochondria protocol and my klow cycle BEFORE I tried anything else, and then it arrived earlier than I thought it would and I disregarded my plan.

I slept like the dead last night, and am about to drop off asleep as we speak, instead of staying awake til 1 am doomscrolling. Could be placebo and probably is. Don't care, tired of being tired.

Please keep us updated!

I take 10mg for 20 days (200mg total), twice per year. Technically, that's 5 weeks and 5 days, but I just say 6 weeks for simplicity. I've seen a few people on here say they take it more frequently, but the protocols I have found from several sources recommend 5-10 mg for 10-20 days, 2-4 times per year.
Thanks for this. I saw someone say they take EOD. Any thoughts on the time of day? What time of day did you pin (and why that time)? Someone suggested to me I start with 5mg for 20 days to start out since it's my first cycle of it. Love any additional thoughts you might be willing to share.

Taking at night could help with sleep due to increased melatonin production, but it causes restlessness for some people. I've heard that taking it in the morning is better to "reset" your circadian rhythm, but I don't know how that works exactly. For my last cycle, I took it in the mornings. I didn't notice any daytime sleepiness, my mood was good, and I slept better than usual at night.

If you want to start slow to make sure you aren't going to react, you could take a smaller dose for a couple of days. I see no reason to do so for the whole cycle. However, some people only take 5 mg/day anyway. Since Epitalon is one peptide that you can't really tell for sure how well it's working based on feelz, I prefer to take the higher dose in hopes of getting max benefits.

My 20-day cycle with IN ended yesterday. I didn't get much help with sleep, but I'm also on Reta. I think it's going to take more to overcome the whammy it puts on my sleep. The strange thing is I don't feel tired, don't need any naps and I just carry on as if I'm not taking it.

My next cycle, in 4-6 months, I'm going to try Sq at the same 1 mg. I do feel sharper and have less brain fog than I did before starting, so bonus there. Cerebrolysin is next on the brain health front.

"Another study in aging rats found that epitalon increased the activities of the antioxidant enzymes superoxide dismutase, glutathione peroxidase, and glutathione-S-transferase."

"In human clinical studies, epitalon and epithalamin both significantly increased telomere lengths in the blood cells of patients of ages 60-65 and 75-80, and their efficacy was comparable to one another."

"In another human clinical trial conducted on a sample of pulmonary tuberculosis patients, epitalon did not appear to correct pre-existing structural aberrations of chromosomes associated with telomere degradation, but did appear to exert a protective effect against the future development of additional chromosomal aberrations."
