I took shot number nine on Tuesday night and I am HANGRY! My first 4 shots were 2.5 at a weight loss clinic. Switched to Research and I’m now on shot number 5 of 5mg. I didn’t want to titrate up unless I stopped losing which I’m still steadily losing… but now there’s no appetite suppression! What do? Do I go up to 7.5 next shot or can I stack another suppressant?

You're human and suppose to get hungry. Weightloss tracks like a downward staircase not a ski slope. You haven't even been stuck on one of the stairs. Stuck is like weeks of no weightloss. Be happy you're losing on low doses because it'll save you money down the road and ease in the transition to maintenance. But if you're digging for compliments congrats! Your progress is more like a ski slope, awesome! 👍

Don't medicate away hunger, you're not a robot.

Add some cheap sema. Or take a bump shot. If I notice changes like hunger pangs coming back in fierce and it's not time for my next dose... I'll take a little bump.

It's your body. Also consider switching to half dosing every 3.5 days instead of waiting a full week for your next dose. It smooths out the peaks and valleys.

Thank you for this! I did have a week of no weight loss when I went on vacay and ate a lot just for the sake of trying new things. I am incredibly grateful to not have seen a real stall yet.

I had considered two half doses in the week and then asked the owner of the medspa I started with, and he told me he highly recommends not to as that can cause gasteoparesis. So that scared me off that option!

Appetite suppression is a side effect not the goal. You're still loosing weight, stick with it.

Just eat a lot of fiber and protein...and realize you're super full again for a few days

If you're still losing weight, no need to increase your dose. Make sure that you're staying well hydrated. Good luck to you!

I've experienced this issue with fierce hunger a few days after a dose also. Then I realized it's really related to what I'm eating. If I had more carbs/sugar than normal (even in small amounts), I rev up that hunger signal. Doesn't happen when I stick to mostly protein, some veggies and drink adequate amounts of water.

It happens from time to time. I wouldn't increase dose just yet tbh. Lots of other factors to look into as well. Protein as sun seeker mentioned, and another big one is hydration. Many people don't hydrate enough. If I don't drink at least 60-80oz of water daily the hunger creeps back in. Your body may be trying to tell you it needs something.
