Yeah, it was the Pizza Party through FTF. I’ve been in the FTF server for a long time but they never had very interesting peps and I have no interest in AAS, so I didn’t join the separate Pizza Party server when they set it up. That’s where the fire has been raining down. The main group was locked down by an admin with a very simple explanation that the Pizza Party buy went sideways, Cheezr said he’d issue refunds and he hasn’t, so the group was being locked down to avoid more chaos.

Honestly though, since I've seen zippitys thoughts on the matter since buying in im wayyyyy less inclined to try another one.

Ehh, I don’t know. There’s a difference between an organized GB with a domestic party and what the CN vendors call a GB, which is a pitiful attempt at a promo.
Like I said in a previous comment, some of them are run very well, but any of them can go sideways…just like your direct buys from CN can go sideways. Keep using whichever method meets your personal risk tolerance and don’t spend any more with any one source than you’re comfortable losing.
Personally, I like the ease of 3P testing, the better prices, and not having to have a package with my name on it go through customs, so I’ll keep doing selective GBs. (And again, I’m not talking about what the overseas vendors refer to as GBs.).

Luckily I only spent 125 on some reta but damn, my heart dropped for a minute.
I think the jury is still out on this one. From what I heard, he did give Lobster some money, so the total isn't $65k. Whatever the motivation, doxing can change your mind real quick. We'll have to see how it plays out.

If you recognize and accept that the majority of group buys are as Zippity succinctly described, I do enjoy the modest savings, 3P testing and not jeopardizing my Global Entry/TSA Pre status. The smaller, private endeavors are much better - we all know each other and there’s an element of trust - we take care of each other (“can anybody spare a half kit of R30 until my next order gets in next month?”).
I continue to be pleasantly surprised that there’s not MORE scamming in this world. Or I’ve just been ridiculously lucky.

What gets me is there are these tg groups that announce a big gb, then it's only open for 30 minutes at a time. People with jobs and families ain't got time to sit on tg. Even more amazing is that with all of the groups out there, people find that this is acceptable and get defensive when they get told they are mental for doing so.
The smaller gb with consistent deliveries is the way to go.

How cheap are these group buys purporting to get lobster product? .80$ per iu ordered and shipped directly without the risk of a stranger seems ok to me. I trust the guys test results so perhaps that’s a factor that I’m not desirous of having them retested with a gb or myself.
Last big one I noticed was $0.40/IU

Im not sure what I paid for the 🦞 hgh but I wasnt really worried about that. I wanted the purity and testing.
In that gb today's update says that 🦞 is having some production problems and that we might not even be getting it, we will get gh but possibly from different source. Apparently my 6 kits of t60 and 3 kits of r60 plus motsc are already a done deal and shippong from CN rn. To be mailed out to me by the gb vendor.
I came really really really close to being part of the pizza party but wanted to see how this one worked out first.

Interesting. What is the difference between a “group buy” and a reseller that buys 20k, tests a vial, and the reseller then sells it.

Just join lobs TG and follow his MESO thread to get the info straight from the source.
I'm in a private GB since I missed my chance to place an order before he stopped taking new retail customers, but it actually works out in my favor since I don't need to pay the $100 shipping fee.
If the info coming from the GB matches what lob is saying himself (and you somewhat trust the GB), then you're probably not getting strung along.
At the end of the day though, you can never fully trust a group buy and have to be ok losing that amount of money if worst come to worst.

What does FTF mean?
I’m happy to tell you of a few that I’ve had good experiences with, one for sure I’d avoid at all cost And some that I’m watching because I think they seem solid but I haven’t jumped in with yet. Feel free to shoot me a DM here or on TG and I can get you some links to get started. My advice, no matter who you get sources from, is to join their group and watch for a bit to see if communication is good (even when there are problems because how they communicate when there are vendor issues goes a long ways) and see if participants are happy. If you jump in one and see people asking where their shipment is or asking for refunds, it’s at least a sign that communication is not good in that group.
That was one specific group name on telegram.
I believe the GB Vendor has (or had) a "consulting" business called FTF consulting.
