I recently tried Retatrutide again, hoping things would go smoother this time — but I’ve been dealing with a lot of fatigue, sleepiness, and trouble focusing. Definitely disappointing since I wanted to make it work. For now, I’ll be sticking with Tirzepatide, but I might give Retatrutide another try in a few months once things stabilize a bit more.

Has anyone else experienced similar side effects early on?

I just started last week and the hunger was too much. I tried to do a maintence shot of tirz with it, but I had to do another shot yesterday before I eat myself out of house and home! It was like I was starving.

I haven't experienced, but I hear a lot of other people has. I did experience more tiredness on Tirz. I feel more energetic on Reta. Tirz I had to go down from 10-11 mg, because it made me depressed and anhedone, I had no will do to anything.
It's just very individual, what side effects people get. You could try again later.

My first week-and-a-half on reta, I had some major bouts of fatigue. They got shorter and further apart as time went on. After my second week, I realized it had been three days since I'd had the fatigue.

I had been told to expect the fatigue as a possible early side-effect. So I just slogged through it (yeah, not as easy as typing that), knowing that it would eventually get better. If I didn't work from home, it would have been almost impossible to get through those 2 weeks, though.

THANKS for sharing. I guess it is true when they say everyone’s body and reaction to a particular substance is different. Sorry to hear you got depressed on Tirzepatide. I don't have any side effects on Tirzepatide. I love Tirzepatide, but I did want to experience a triple antagonist in Retatrutide.

Thanks for sharing your experience. This is my second attempt to go on Retatrutide but the fatigue is far too extreme for me. Like one of those if I'm sitting down, I literally will fall asleep and so strong that after work I have to take a power nap in the parking lot before driving home--It's that powerful for me.

Not to mention I work in a busy hospital so they frowned upon you falling asleep while trying to do patient care LOL.. 😝

Have you considered stacking something like Albuterol, Clenbuterol or Modafinil? I had the most success with an Albuterol inhaler. It has the shortest half-life of them. I just inhale one dose about 30 minutes before a workout or first thing in the morning and it keeps me going all day. They are all insanely cheap from India. An inhaler is less than $5.
