Wow, I was just picking up some groceries at a major (Ralphs/Kroger) grocery store/supermarket, (a brand if don’t know that does not have pharmacies in them), and over the intercom system I heard an advertisement “On GLP medication? Let our nutritionists help guide and support your dietary needs… etc etc bla bla bla”.

I mean, I know GLPs are now quite popular, but this really shifted my perspective some in regard to how socially accepted they are becoming.

Anyone else seen/heard ads in a place that surprised you??

I haven't. But I suppose there's a certain amount of cover because the same drugs are also prescribed for diabetes. And now/soon for nearly everything else also.

Plus it remains the case in the United States that 1 of 8 adults are currently on a GLP drug, and around 1 out of every 5 or 6 adults have ever been on one.

GLP ads across all media have supplanted boner pills as number one. They don’t really bother me, but they do give me pause for concern in that Where Are We Going to Get Enough Quality BAC Water and what’s it going to cost?!?! 🤪

And before Calm Logic pipes up about his Margarita-mixer-saltwater solution, I’m talking real BAC, for real men and women in the Greater Research (sucker-free) Community!

It makes me sick. It is everywhere or getting there.

I need to lie down and take a GLP-supporting nap.
I'm not actually mad about it, because it feels to me like most people OUGHT to be considering that GLP-1's are a thing. But I'd be curious to know your objection, because you FREQUENTLY feel a way I hadn't considered and later on find I agree with.

PS--I tried to send you video of my drum but your DM's are off and I was sad! But I'll bet it's cause everybody and their mom DM'd you begging for GB links.

On the negative side:
OH, I get it--like the whole "this specific food is marketed to be the right thing to eat when you're on GLp-1's, despite the fact that the whole point of glp-1's is to be able to maintain sanity when it comes to food and just eat like a normal person who does not need specific foods marketed to them but we're gonna because money."

Everywhere. Now i here microdosing is the rave. Lose 10 to 15lbs before the wedding.... i aint micro shit, im pinnin gorilla doses lol....

I just worried these young know it alls blasting away with syringes. They start with a certain dose, then just blast away with a higher dose because they didn't lose 10lbs/week. I know a few of these types, or see them on different sites.

Totally. I had a client at work just two days ago exclaiming to his buddy (in the most dude bro voice you can imagine): “Yeah bro it just wasn’t doing anything so I just dumped the whole fukn pen in my leg. I pulled it out and it was like spraying $hit everywhere so I jammed it back in, haha. Now I can feel it working.” Apparently an injector pen full of Reta he got from somewhere.

🤦‍♂️ SMH

Yeah the whole GLP-1 friendly food tags are a bit much 🙄 but we need to label everything for marketing/advertising!

One of my research subjects (I help a few) is like this. Needed to lose 15lbs in 6 weeks for a Physical/Fitness Test, to stay off the "fat guy program." Healthy young guy, but in a very sedentary job.

Super low dose of Tirz, hit his goal weight ahead of schedule.

Now we are trying to figure a maintenance dose. We went with 14 day dosing of the same dose of Tirz, in accordance with the study Eli Lilly did. Be interesting to see where it takes him.
