Glutathione dosage and mixing recommended

I haven't done it yet. Below are directions from my box, which includes a 2 mL solution of vitamin C (500 mg in a liquid ampule) and sterile water (5 mL in a plastic container). The powder (600 mg of glutathione) is already in the vial:

Directions for use:

(1) Dissolve the contents of vial with sterile water for injection IP till it becomes clear.

(2) Gently mix Vitamin-C injection IP in reconstituted vial.

The reconstituted solution should be used immediately and not stored.

Per Google: "IP" stands for Indian Pharmacopoeia, indicating that this water meets the quality standards set by the Indian Pharmacopoeia.

From a subreddit on glutathione, "I’ve gotten it to dissolve with 3ml which seemed to work fine."

Can you elaborate on this part?

You can 🙂

I'm still in research mode, so I will defer to others. From what I read on Reddit, some will split the dose in at least two and spread it throughout the week. But I would use BAC water instead in that case, like the OP, @cooleql, is planning on doing it seems.

Andy's take:

I use a 600mg vial in three days now, but I used to do 100mg daily for 6 days. I don’t even get ISRs from it. I am also confident that it has done great things for my liver, but I can’t prove it. lol

I think that next to the GLPs, Glutathione is the absolute best all around and most effective peptide.

Regarding mixing to optimize pH:

I ordered the Hospira sodium bicarbonate water from Mr. Jailbreak, expecting it Monday along with ph papers. I'm going to use regular bac water and then add tiny increments of the bicarb to get it approaching but not quite neutral.

I know there was an entire thread on ampules and potential filtering, did you decide what you intend to do? I think a 31g filter is decent, your thoughts?

Yeah, I will buy a multi-use vial of ascorbic acid (Vit C) instead of using the ampule. The lazy way 🙂

For the time being, I will probably just mix my 600 mg with 3-5 mL of BAC water, no C or bicarb. Spreading the vial over three doses, injecting every other day.

FeatureAscorbic Acid (Reconstituted)Glutathione (Reconstituted)
Primary DegradationRapid oxidation, leading to irreversible loss of activity.Oxidation to GSSG (often reversible), slower chemical breakdown.
Sensitivity to OxygenVery highModerate
Sensitivity to LightHighModerate
Typical BUD (Injectable)4-24 hours (often on the shorter end for safety/potency)24 hours to 7 days (or longer if frozen)
Storage RecommendationImmediate use preferred; refrigerate & protect from light strictly.Refrigerate & protect from light; some can be frozen for longer storage.
Color Change (Sign)Yellow to brown/dark (indicates degradation)Less prone to dramatic color changes as a primary sign of degradation

So it seems best to add Vit C right before injection:

Wow.. That is good data.
So why the Vit C mix? and does it come in kits alone to avoid mix/loss

I throw out the vitamin c and just take a 1,000mg vitamin c gummy every day. If I were going to use the vitamin c with it, I'd mix it and use it immediately. Take that with a grain of salt, though, I'm not a scientist, just a wannabe🙂

Yeah, I like that idea of just oral vitamin C. The 6 mL (1.5 gram) vial of vitamin C from Kawal is only $2, so I will try that too and just dump the extra.

I'm going to have my vitamin C tested out of curiosity more than anything, and since it works "hand in glove" with glutathione:

Google Gemini said:
Vitamin C, when it neutralizes free radicals, becomes oxidized (dehydroascorbic acid). Glutathione (in its reduced form, GSH) plays a crucial role in reducing dehydroascorbic acid back to its active form, L-ascorbic acid. This recycling process allows Vitamin C to continue its antioxidant function.
