Go on without me ...

I do think it has something to do with mitochondria, that's why I thought I would start with MotsC. Seemed like a fairly reasonable jump. I was also considering NAD+ but read some things that put my radar up. My short-term memory is not great so I can't remember at the moment but something turned me off about it. I guess I'll just keep taking the MotsC and Provigil for now. I do also take levothyroxine for thyroid and folic acid prescribed by my primary. I also ordered some liquid saffron extract, L-THEANINE Liquid and a liquid multivitamin. I figured none of those would hurt but could help. Otherwise, I'll wait till July.
Okay, I'm going to throw my two cents in. Not a doctor, just another guy on the internet. However I can relate to feeling overwhelmed and frail. GLglpguy suggested the YWCA or other groups to swim or exercise. You said you go to your sisters once a week. Once a week is not enough, at least three times a week is needed. The thing with groups is, you'll make new friends and acquaintances. You will motivate each other to keep showing up, and working towards a goal. You will also learn about each others struggles, and what works for them. That will give you a support group, even if it's only for an hour three times a week. That will help you mentally as well as physically.

Next: If you are on GLP-1's you need protein. Go to a good health food store (not walmart or a pharmacy) Pick up 5lbs of whey protein. Make a protein shake with your largest meal. Better yet with two meals. Eggs and avocado's are good protein sources, eat them. Then find a good strong multi vitamin with minerals. Ask for help picking one out. I use Twinlab daily one caps as a minimum, meet of beat what it has in it. These two things are a must, it may take 60-90 days before you notice the difference, however it will come. Take your multi with your first meal of the day.

While at the health food store, pick up the 5 supplements that every health/fitness doctor, and internet fitness influence recommends. Creatine Monohydrate, Vitamin D3 with K2, CoQ10, an Omega-3 with high EPA and DHA, and Magnesium. (magnesium glycinate before bed will give you better sleep) Don't try them for two weeks and give up. Give it 90 days. You will see and feel a difference. You also spoke of NAD+ The vitamin Niacin (B6) is better and cheaper than NAD+. Your body will turn NMN, NR, or NAD into Niacin in the body. Just skip that process and use Niacin. Niacin will cause skin flushing when you first start taking it, or when you up the dose. 500mg-1mg is where I would want to be with it.

While it sounds like I'm giving medical advice, I'm not. I'm just repeating my own personal research and what works for me. Remember, I'm just another idiot on the internet that you don't know. A Google search would give you the same information. Good luck, and don't give up.

I love advice. It helps keep me on track. I take prescription Vitamin D once a week 1.25mg , 50,000 unit. My Primary just started me on it a week ago. I have a lot of protein, grilled chicken everyday, eggs, eggs at least 5 days a week. Hate avocado. I take 1st Phorm protein. I have a friend who supplies it to me for a great price. I have creatine mono hydrate on order. Magnesium glycinate I have. I wanted to take NAD+ but didn't, I could not remember why until you said niacin and then I remembered. I cannot take niacin.
I can't have K because of my blood and heart. I have incredible friends who are on this weight loss journey with me. We all take Tirzepatide. They don't have my health issues, but we have been friends for 40 years and know everything about each other. I'm kind of weird about going into a public pool mostly because I get sick so easily and people do nasty things but my sister will let me come over as often as I want. It's mostly that I just don't have the energy after homeschooling my two youngest grandchildren.
Need to check on COq10. No knowledge but I made a note. I used to take Omega3 I'll get some more. I also started Saffron Extract and L-theanine with a liquid multivitamin that was recommended to me. Thank you so much for your 2 cents, I means a lot more than that to me.

They may be! I'm just not knowledgeable enough to know or help.

20+ yrs ago I had a complicated surgical case. I called a physician I trusted. He advised me to seek care from a teaching hospital near to where I lived. I did. It was the best decision and my case resolved.

Do you live near a teaching hospital?
I do. LOMA Linda where I had surgery for ureter a great teaching hospital. Also St. Joseph's where I had my blood clot removed. every day students would come in and discuss my case before coming up withpossible solutions

AHHHHHHHH OK You just need a "pick me up" You're in the land of that sticky GREEN! Ever tried that Cali Kush? I lived in Cali for 17yrs. You can legally get the version you need right down the street at the store. Get it in a pen or a brownie and you won't stink up your clothes or the house either. Kids won't even know and I'm sure you will feel better.
Yes I second this!
I've helped several family members with sleeping issues with THC oil drops. Maybe you can go to a dispensary and try that?
A vape can also lift your spirits and give you a pick-me-up once in a while to relax and let your mind get a break from all the stress and medical situations.
I feel for you and really hope you can find a peptide that helps with your energy.
MOTS-c try it maybe every other day 3mg instead of 5mg? I think the max is about 15mg a week but I'm not sure.
Just know that once a week 5mg is maybe not enough for you?
Some people have to cycle SS31 first before starting MOTS-c. Maybe have a look into that as wel.
I wish you all the luck you can get! 🍀
Love that you ask for advice here on the forum, please keep doing that! Everybody likes to help! ❤️

I honestly dont know. I have taken it for many years and it's just the last 6 years that my fatigue started and continues to worsen.
Yes I was referring to the Tirzepatide, sorry
I don't know what T3 is
t3 is the other thyroid hormone, triiodothyronine.
Have you seen any significant changes in the blood results of your thyroid hormones in the last 6 years compared to before?

Thank you so much! I guess I was hoping to run into "another me" that could help. I have been to many doctors who don't want to touch me. Trying to be silent and listen to God for my next move. I was hoping peptides would be it.
Have you tried the Mayo Clinic or Cleveland Clinic? I live in Minnesota, home of Mayo and that is where people go from around the world for cases that others can't solve. It's not the cheapest, but they have payment plans and will work with you as much as they can. They put a whole team around you and love solving tough health problems. Though nowhere near what you are experiencing, I had a prostate issue about 10 years ago and they had a solution few others could provide.

I'm glad you have access to these resources!

My brother recently has been suffering physically to the point of considering taking his own life. Among other issues, it turns out he had very low sodium and that was one of the biggest exacerbators of misery of all. He's still suffering now that it is fixed but it is now manageable. You are a freaking warrior. What a terrible deal of the cards but your toughness and grit are inspiring.

Someone above said you've really been through the wringer, and that's surely an understatement. In spite of everything, you ran a successful business for a quarter of a century and you're now a septuagenerian! That in itself is an accomplishment. Clearly you possess significant fortitude - and are fortunate to have a supportive life partner and daughter, and a tribe of grandchildren to help out as well. With this forum, you've stumbled across a really good group of people who are generous with their time and counsel. Even if the group is unable to find a solution, I hope their support gives you comfort.
