This new sponsoring vendor - they look to have pretty good prices in their promotion.

Does anyone have experience with them, or know of any third party tests underway?

I paid with PayPal.

That's a very bad idea if you intend to use PayPal in the long term, for anything. PayPal readily shuts down accounts involved in shady purchases, including these grey vendors, and permanently bans the user. I'm not sure if they also bar the user from Venmo, which they own.

Learn crypto. Yes, it's a massive pain in the ass (especially in New York State, which has insane laws about it) but it's ultimately doable and safe if you're reasonably careful. Including never typing out numbers manually.

I’ll double down on indolent’s comments re: crypto being a pain. But after you do it a few times, almost routine? And really the only practical way to do business with the most affordable purveyors of our obsession.

Yeah after the first one, it got easier. People have posted some great links in Discord for how to navigate crypto.

Don’t use your bank or PayPal. Period.
