Hi!

I’m new here. I started my weight loss journey in 2020. I started at 307 pounds and got down to 230 with diet. Stalled at 230. My cardiologist put me on Wegovy and I got down to 170. Wegovy was life changing for me. Shut off food house, helped control my ADHD, etc etc.

Sadly, my insurance stopped covering it in August of 2024. I’ve since tried different compounding pharmacies (Sema) and tried reconstituting Sema and Tirz on my own without much luck. I’ve gained back about 30 pounds.

I don’t know why Wegovy worked so well and nothing else has. I’m now up to 7.5 weekly on Tirz but it’s gotten so expensive. So I’m here to poke around, and hopefully learn from those that may have been in similar situations.

You've come to the right place, and welcome!

If you've had poor results from both compounding pharmacies AND reconstituted grey market peptides, can you please say which companies? That doesn't sound right at all.

The tirz that people on this forum use are so cheap they pay for themselves through lower food costs! You just have to read the threads a really lot, use the search feature, and (although it sounds like you have some experience) click the link in my signature to get started.

I sent you a DM

Hi!

The two compounding pharmacies I used for sema were Amble and...the other one honestly slipped my mind but it was something like Amble. Found through fb ads. With both, I had some nausea and sulfur burbs but no appetite suppression, no weight loss and no reduction in food noise.

I got the Tirzepatide through Skye peptides at the end of February. To be fair, I'm only on my second week of being at 7.5 mg so it’s possible I just need a higher dose.
