Help me decide: Stay on Tirz, Switch to Reta, Stack Tirz & Reta, Stack Cagr & Reta?

This is hard. I'm currently on 10mg tirz and have been on Tirz for about 7 months with awesome results. Been taking it prescribed but when the costs got too high I decided to go the gray way instead. So I decided to switch to Reta (not started yet). Then reconsidered and decided to stack tirz + reta. Now I read about Cagrilintide and looked in to stacking reta + cagr. Can't think straight anymore from all the alternatives 😭 any help and experiences would be hugely appreciated. Sorry if there's a thread almost like this one.

Hi. If the tirz is working well, why switch to reta? If I'm not mistaking, tirz is cheaper than reta, and it seems way easier to attain, also. I only use reta (maintenance) so not totally sure about pricing for tirz. I have tried cag and couldn't handle it at all. Made me sooo tired that I couldn't function. YMMV

Hey. Honestly I don't know why I'm dead set on switching to Reta. I think it's a little bit that I feel like I hit a platue with Tirz at 10mg a week and just got so curious about Reta adding something into the mix. Already ordered a ton of Reta and some Tirz so I will see what I'll do. Probably try some Reta to see how it works for me and go from there. The smart thing would probably be too stay with what works and maybe go higher on the dose of Tirz to 12,5mg and see how that goes but hey I'm not that smart I guess 🤭

Haha, yes the urge to switch is hard to ignore! I have in the past used tirz, sema, and cag, but not stacking. Only reta really wowed me. So, yeah, if you feel you've bottomed out the tirz, give reta a try!

And maybe not ordering whatever comes to mind the same second the thought comes in mind haha. I will give reta a try because it might just be better than Tirz for me. I don't know if I should stop Tirz completely and try Reta or stack that is my main concern right now. I should be responsible (god that feels boring to say) and just up the dose of Tirz before trying Reta. Increasing the dose have worked so far. From start 2,5mg to currently 10 mg and now I've been on 10mg for 10 weeks so it's probably just a platue.

Hey there, it’s your American doppelgänger here who orders whatever pops into my mind! Last night I HAD to place an order URGENTLY for Cagri (my GB for Eloralintide is gonna take weeeeeks! Must have an amylin receptor agonist NOW!) SS-31 (I already ordered MOTS-C, but the new protocol I saw on the forum said SS-31 works in conjunction with it, and the MOTS is due to arrive any day nowwww!) and GHK-Cu (I already have so many weight loss and metabolism peps on order I NEED A SKIN PEP NOW!).

A few days ago I said I didn’t have a problem and that I would stop once I have 5 years’ max dose of tirz. I am now only 39mg away from that but have ordered enough others to create some (for me) impressive stacks for months to come. I was a dirty dirty liar!!

Thank god I get an extra paycheck this month 😅

I stack tirz and reta, currently 7.5 tirz on Thursday, 1.5 reta on Sunday. I am happy with my progress and minimal side effects, certainly nothing worth quitting over
Interesting. Did you start on Tirz and then decided to add Reta or the other way around or just started stacking?

Yes, I was on tirz like 9 or 10 weeks (was at 5mg), but glucagon fomo and here we are. I think for me it was probably the same reasoning as why a lot of people split dose, I didn't like the end of the week return of not-really-hungry hunger, and reta seemed worth trying. It was also the first thing I ever reconstituted, so I was definitely only going to start with a small amount anyway. And I liked the results, have stuck with it, titrate something up every 4-6 weeks depending on what I want to improve on. "Science" 😂

Just adding a thought for the consideration of the OP: I'm on Tirz, too, and also ran into that day 5-7 aggggh thing, my solution was just switching to every 6 days instead of 7, not splitting the dose, just continuing on my merry way with the dose I was on. It TOTALLY eliminated that end of week thing, in fact were it not for my Google calendar reminder I'd forget shot day, because I don't feel the NEED, the effect wearing off. 6 day keeps med in your system at a steadier state, has the effect of a dose increase without actually increasing your injection mg.

That's exactly my "reasoning" about the glucagon. But then I heard that the feelings of hunger and food noise wasn't repressed as much on reta as tirz so I still want to avoid the constant food/hunger thoughts and that's where cagr also came into the picture but stacking reta and cagr was not a good idea apparently from what I read https://pep-pedia.org/peptides/cagrilintide

That's an interesting thought. I'm so autistic I didn't even think about taking it other than every 7th day.

IIRC Eli Lily WANTED you to take it every 5 days, they're well aware of when it wears off, but went with 7 because we people all suck at remembering to do something other than once a week. Easier for people to remember, be compliant with.

That's just evil even for big pharma. They would make more money if we took it more often though or is my reasoning wrong?

I personally stack all 3! I just take fairly low doses of each. 5mg Tirz, every 5-7 days 2-3mg Reta (split into 2 a week), .5 Cagri every 10 days or so! I like the benefits of each. Tirz with inflammation, Reta hitting glucagon, Cagri hitting Amylin!

Please do your own research. Grab a few kits from a vendor and experiment with what works for YOU. It's not that expensive.

It's absolutely fine to ask for advice but don't take it as face value.
