HELP me out: Women's Hair loss from Tirz

Seriously, red light therapy is the real deal. I've used it successfully for muscle aches, but my biggest surprise is it works wonderfully for canker and cold sores. I've gotten rid of both within 24-48 hours or prevented cold sores completely. I'm not sure about hair, but it's worth a try.
And... can I ask which unit you bought? I have a knee wrap for my son... maybe he should try it on his face, too? 😉

Been on Tirz for 7 months, lost 50 lbs, 35 to go. But my hair won't stop falling out in alarming amounts since ~December. The only reason it's not noticeable right away is that I had a TON of hair to start. But now when I gather into a pony tail, the volume is noticeably MUCH thinner. I'm certain it's from Tirz, but to compound the problem, I'm 47 and also in perimenopause, so that is not helping.

It just won't stop falling out. Like a tribble's worth of hair comes out every time I shower, clogs the drain if I don't pull it out into the trash as I go. It's not only gross, but it's starting to freak me out. I've got expensive-ass vitamins (Nutrafol) ordered, started adding bovine collagen peptides to my coffee, trying to prioritize my daily protein. I take the GLOW protocol 5x/week. And I just started low-dose estrogen patches (.025 mc 2x/wk) and compounded testosterone cream (.5gram 1x/wk) from my menopause specialist.

Anyone tried anything that works?

I wanted to stay away from oral or topical minoxidil because I heard that once you start, you need to take it indefinitely and that even more shedding will happen at the beginning.
Hi , congratulations on your weight loss!

A couple of things that have helped my hair loss is Vitamin D, Iron ( found out ferritin was non existent ) and upping my protein intake. Each time my body has went through a major ordeal I’ve experienced shedding. ( Weight loss, surgery, certain meds )

Unfortunately it’s sometimes trial and error and takes time. You’ve got some good feedback here. Good luck to you!

I work at a hair salon. Most of our clients are on nutrafol. You can buy it at Amazon. Also. Oribe sells a shampoo, conditioner and treatment spray that stops hair loss, promotes new hair growth and gives you volume. If you can’t afford the shampoo and conditioner, get the treatment spray bc that you leave in compared to the shampoo and conditioner. It’s called serene scalp densifying treatment spray. The dark purple bottle. I would not get it off Amazon bc people water it down. You have to buy from a legit distributor.

I lost a good bit of my hair too. I’ve been taking Nutrafol for a couple of months and haven’t seen much improvement. I feel that my hair is less brittle but I don’t know if the vitamins could have helped that. I am thinking about trying red light therapy.
Yep
Can I ask where you are getting them from? Thanks for the help. 💖
Temu (not so much right now because of the tariffs, but local Temu still has good prices) and Amazon. I don't usually get the ones with real hair. They are inexpensive enough that I have a ton of them. That's a cheap topper for my bangs. I French braided my hair, and have a long curly extension wound around the tail. I use the spiral clips (Amazon) to keep it in place.

I have several. Yes. You can use it on your face. When I have time, I just sit under the whole thing. but I'm not as dedicated as I should be. I need to put myself on a schedule.

This one can be taken off the stand and used around your waist. I have this one as well
