I wanted a little boost after a plateau on tirz so I started adding 1 mg of reta about 6 weeks ago. I do my tirz on Wednesdays and Reta on Saturdays or Sundays. I didn't immediately feel a major change and was hesitant to up my tirz at the same time, so I kept at it and by week 2. From what I've read, it does build up in your system over time so people have advised to be patient with it! I definitely noticed a difference after that second week, which helped keep my appetite suppressed while staying on the lower dose of tirz as well. After a few more weeks, I upped my tirz by .5 mg and upped my reta by .5 2 weeks after that, so now I am at 1.5 reta weekly on top of my tirz and it is definitely helping a lot!
My eventual goal is to keep using both until I have lost another 30-40 pounds and I'd like to taper off tirz and stay on a low dose of reta.
I highly recommend adding it to your regimen, keeping the dose low if you can, and be patient the first few weeks but I hope it works just as well for you!
