I’ve just taken my 41st jab of Mounjaro having started first week in January 2025. I’m a ex personal fitness trainer who in 2018 stopped exercising and slowly but surely piled the weight on and then of course came Covid!! I genuinely do know how to lose weight and get back in shape but up to the start of 2025 I just couldn’t get started. I first read about glps in Nov 24 and started to research everything I could about them ( I’m not one for taking any sort of medication if I can help it) but by end of jan25 I knew I had to take a chance so ordered my first pen and off I go. I had zero side effects tried my very best to stick to a calorie controlled diet but didn’t do any exercise. Due to the weight ) 58lbs too heavy blood pressure was sky high lots of pain in my legs and hips and couldn’t really walk too far. But 41 weeks later and I’m 38lbs down without exercise blood pressure on the way down and no more hip/leg pain and I can walk for hours. But then came the price rise to over double for the drug (uk) and my heart sank I knew I could no longer continue with Mounjaro I’m retired and money wouldn’t stretch that far. So didn’t want to give up and easily found forums like this one to help me stay on my journey ( I’m probably a lifer for tirz)
I just want to say whoever started these groups and keeping them going well done and I thank you from the bottom of my heart you have made a old slimmer lady very very happy xx

It’s awesome to have a place where we can all talk about taking our health into our own hands. The governments of the world want control over everything. Rand was a prophet ! We have God given rights for LIFE , liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That means a healthy LIFE! Happiness is so closely tied to health isn’t it??

That's a very uplifting missive, tyvm! This site has plenty of insights from personal experience and some anecdotal, as well, but mostly a fantastic group with the same goal: to be a better person.
Congrats on your 1st year's accomplishments! 🫡 🙏
