I've only had one episode of Afib- but it sticks with ya forever!
I really want to add reta to my tirz, but I hear about the elevated HR and I worry it will agitate my heart. I take beta blockers for the Afib RVR, so maybe that will combat the heartrate issue?

Is the elevated HR temporary?
Is there a sizable group of people that don't get those symptoms at all?

I swapped to Reta in December. It still increases my RHR by around 10-12ish bpm. Nebivolol has not made an impact on it, despite me hoping it would.

It doesn't seem to do much to my maximum HR during exercise - that has been the same before/after.

In the studies it seemed to abate after 4-6 months for many people.

Mine jumped ten bpm and has stayed there. I’ve managed to mitigate it some with increased cardio.

What is your tirz dose? Can you increase it? With a history of afib with rvr I wouldn't try reta, if it was me, personally. I'd try cagri first.

Not a medical professional, not medical advice. Just what my personal comfort level would be.
