I have no idea how to use crypto safely to make a purchase.

I'm wanting to make a purchase through a vendor who uses crypto but don't have the slightest idea how to go about it. I though about maybe using MoonPay but even that seems unclear to me (guess how old I am😉). I was considering using Emmy at ERP. What's my firsts step? Thanks.

I believe HPT takes paypal, and they are a good vendor. ERP is actually my favorite vendor ( Shoutout to Linda! ) but unsure if they take anything other than crypto.

Honestly, anything anyone tells you is stuff thats already been typed out here in the crypto threads. In the simplest words. Get an Exodus Wallet. Purchase USDC SOL, and then youd send that to the vendors. But theres a lot in between all of that so you don't buy the wrong crypto, send your money to a black hole ect.

Start with vendors that accept Paypal.

I'm in the same boat, so I'll be watching this one. I don't need to buy a boat load, but the price on kits makes it hard to ignore.
Yea, I just bought another 600mg of Reta for 289 and my tirz comes hella cheap too, buy it bulk and spend about 150 for 600mg for it. My stashes are ridiculous. Not to mention quick deals that come around every so often. If you post n the cypto forum as you go folks here will help you. I was happy with using Paypal too, until I wasn't.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind a few kits of 30-60mg Reta. I poked around a little in that section, but have really focused on it. Sorry for the hijack OP.

"Exploring peptides the way an octopus explores a shipwreck — poking everything, grabbing anything shiny, and hoping I don’t accidentally inject myself with the wrong tentacle.”

If you're a cephalopod friend you probably know this story but in case you don't, somebody ran an experiment of sorts to see what an octopus would do if you put 9 crabs, one of their favorite foods, in their tank. They grabbed 8 of them, one with each arm. Then kept letting go of one to grab the 9th one over and over. Almost seems like octopus torture.😎

Yep, what Gr33dy said.

I downloaded exodus. Then purchased usdc on sol. Also some sol for the transaction fees. I think I did the purchasing with venmo. But you can use credit cards or whatever. First time is worst. Once everything is set up it is really simple.

vendor will send you either Qr or long ass code for payment. You just transfer to whatever they send and then show proof with the "receipt ".

you got this!

I've used Alipay and Wise pay...both are very simple and easy to use. I wish more vendors would use them. I've had plenty of crypto, but have never purchased items with it and for me that's intimidating, I don't know why...lol.
Thanks, they don't look to difficult. I told myself just looking at some of those crypto things, nope.

Does ERP have any current up to date testing?
Their "real time" vendor supplied reta COA's seem to be from last September.
Are they still selling out of a batch from 5 months ago?
I don't see them being tested at STG privately either.
Nope, the 3 things I bought from them have janoshik flyers from the end of September, then in November and December.

Dont really care to be honest about that, I dont expect most of these places to have fresh stuff, fresh tests and if they do, who knows if they're real anyway? Beyond that ERP has a busy discord and telegram, the same stuff im after is popular and likely a lot being sold.

Im really here for the cheap Reta.

Using USDT-Sol and Ethereum and some of the others was a little intimidating. But using just straight BTC was actually way easier than I expected. There are some vendors that don't accept straight BTC, but I think most do. You can set up an account on Exodus and purchase BTC with a debit card from there. It showed up in my wallet in like 15 minutes. It was really easy. Then, make the purchase, get the BTC wallet address from the vendor and transfer. It can take 20-30 minutes for it to process. Once it does, you'll have a receipt and you can copy that to the vendor as proof of payment.

A couple of suggestions:

Chase Bank, Wells Fargo and possibly some other big banks hate anything to do with BTC and will block any and all transaction attempts involving BTC. They may even freeze your account for a time after attempting it. If you keep running into a roadblock trying to purchase BTC, try using an account with a different bank.

BTC has lately been having a lot of swings in value up and down. I would not keep much more than the amount you need in your wallet.

Speaking of which...you know that guide that @peptideusername made, where you buy pyusd in Paypal, send it to your exodus wallet, and use Jupiter to swap it to usdc or usdt on sol? That's all I do for crypto, but I noticed you can buy pyusd in venmo. I have a couple hundred bucks in my venmo balance, and bought ten bucks of pyusd there to send to my wallet. I had to do a face and dl scan, and I guess there's a review that humans have to do so it takes a few days, but I've never heard of anyone using venmo to do the pyusd thing. I'm not sure if it's cause you shouldn't for reasons, or just cause people already are in PayPal.

There are folks who will do your crypto buys for you for a fee (the one I looked into charges 3%).

I'm literally still not allowed to discuss sources at my rank. But what I told you was a great resource to find what you need.
I noticed that. Weird because we have similar #s of posts/likes/time since joining. Sorry. Didn't meant to put you in a bind. Feel free to answer when your rank changes.
