I'm going to shoot for losing 100 pounds in 6 months

lol. Fair enough. I’m not dismissing what you are saying. I’m arguing that not all AASs are the boogeyman that many people make them out to be. There are safe ways to use them.
How did you take me saying "they have negative effects even when used smartly" and "do research and consider the tradeoffs" as making them out to be the boogeyman?

Ok someone spill why did he finally get banned? Mean DM's to mods? Doesn't fit the harm reduction model? Posted inappropriate pictures?

You could send Brute Enforcer Emeritus a message.

Edit: found a new word replacement our beloved leader loves to joke around with. That's b-e-e if you couldn't tell
Not laughing at the suggestion, but Brute Enforcer Emeritus has me snorting.

I've been triggering that one for a while, I was afraid he was getting annoyed with my tags 🙃

To add to the earlier discussion on AAS side effects with long-term use:

AASs were associated with an increased risk of acute myocardial infarction (adjusted hazard ratio [aHR] 3.00 [95% CI, 1.67–5.39]), percutaneous coronary intervention or coronary artery bypass graft (aHR 2.95 [95% CI, 1.68–5.18]), venous thromboembolism (aHR 2.42 [95% CI, 1.54–3.80]), arrhythmias (aHR 2.26 [95% CI, 1.53–3.32]), cardiomyopathy (aHR 8.90 [95% CI, 4.99–15.88]), and heart failure (aHR 3.63 [95% CI, 2.01–6.55]).

"The results of this brain imaging study should be of concern for athletes using anabolic steroids for performance enhancement and suggest that the adverse effects on behavior and cognition previously shown to be associated with long-term use are the result of effects on the brain in the form of accelerated brain aging."

“Our results suggest a long-lasting impaired gonadal capacity in previous anabolic steroid users”

“The results,” Rasmussen said, “raise the question whether some previous anabolic steroid users should receive medical stimulation therapy to increase Leydig cell capacity in the testicles.”

This therapy would include drugs used to block estrogen production or its conversion to testosterone, such as aromatase inhibitors and selective estrogen receptor modulators, he noted.

If I was rich, I would create a documentary about gray. The underlying theme would be that everyone thinks everyone else is crazy 🤪

The doctors and general public think we are crazy and vice versa, and different groups in gray think the other groups are out to lunch, like GLPers vs. Meso bros and filter peeps vs. no filter.

It already exists... Pick a "Real Housewives" franchise!

As opposed to clenbuterol:

"I don't think there are any significant long-term adverse effects from this drug."

yes, i'm experimenting with ss31 as there is some evidence it repairs kidneys. but I wonder like Gonk if a lot of these "miracle" peps are just hype and a waste of money. it's worth a try I guess. its really expensive to run ss31 at the correct therapeutic dose.
Just found this out for a relative with borderline CKD:

For kidney issues, Farxiga by the same manufacturer Astrazeneca is available from India. But they know it as Forxiga. Cost is only $8 for 14 pills (10 mg each). Sun Pharma makes a generic version, which is even cheaper at $3.50.

In clinical trials, they used Farxiga with patients with an EGFR up to 75. So it can help even with mild or borderline CKD.

I read through this entire thread and it was an emotional rollercoaster.

But I'm left with one big question - why did he stop taking glp1s? I feel like this was never addressed.

I'm sorry you went through that. But I'm not sure oyster ever did completely stop glp1s but he did stop most other things after burning a whole in his gut with fat burners.

Yep saw the bit about the homebrew and burning a hole. I was curious how that healed up. I'm left with so many lingering questions 😆

Huge congrats on dropping 30 in six weeks already, that’s no small thing! Just don’t forget to give your body some grace too. These meds can do a lot, but the real magic is in what you do like riding that bike and staying consistent.
