I'm going to shoot for losing 100 pounds in 6 months

I added unflavored protein to pretty much everything. Still add protein to iced coffee. Best one I found was Isopure unflavored. I’ve lost about half what you’re planning in 8 months with little muscle loss (I monitor muscle and bone w/a very nice scale that tells me what my muscle, fat, bone, and water weigh).
That is smart. I need to start doing that again...

I know a lot have already said it but 100lbs in 6 months is extreme. I once did 75lbs in 6 months. I diet crashed and ended up gaining most of it back. This was before the days of GLP1s. The main issue with this goal is you will lose lots of muscle in the process. Personlly if it was me, I would aim for 50lbs loss and do 3 whole body workouts a week and 30min of cardio daily. Lifting with high protein intake will help save muscle. Plus, recent studies on weight loss show weight lifting by itself is the most effective way to lose weight when combined with diet. With all that said you do you for your health. I personally chose a faster route myself to cure my sleep apnea. I'm down 35lbs in 4 months still have another 35 to 40lbs to go.

It's been about six weeks down 30. I know it's going to take a lot. I'm going to have to do some fasting and ride an exercise bike every day. Really hump it good. So far i have done no exercise.

Had 2 doses script Zepbound 2.5. Then 2-2.5 research tirzy then 2-5 research tirzy. And a little Reta at 1mg/2mg with the tirzy. Maybe switch over to Reta because it makes me feel good. Hording the script zep for the wife.

I think it's possible with these drugs and hard work and eating like a supermodel on top of them.
I am happy for your desire and eagerness to meet your goal, but don't set yourself up for disappointment. You should aim too lose 2lbs a week to give your body time to adjust. And not training is a tough one which means you will most likely have to deal with the challenge of the lose skin. Please go at a pace that gives your body time to adjust to the new you. It will appreciate you and you will feel more confident later.

got some blood work. liver protein is low. the other out of range stuff was barely out of range.

not worried about glucose. my a1c is fine and I wasn't fasting at the time. I check my blood sugar with a finger stick and its within range all the time.

This reminds me that I really should have bloodwork done, it's been a really long time.

It also reminds me that I haven't had New England Clam Chowdaah in far too long.

Around here, frequent bloodwork and trips to Costco are almost mandatory for the retired and semi-retired.

Is your egfr always so low? That’s the only value I don’t like. 🫤
yes, i'm experimenting with ss31 as there is some evidence it repairs kidneys. but I wonder like Gonk if a lot of these "miracle" peps are just hype and a waste of money. it's worth a try I guess. its really expensive to run ss31 at the correct therapeutic dose.
