How do y’all “onboard” ya favorite peeps to peps?

Recently, I shared my experiences with my friend. From compounded Tirz to grey Reta. I sent her links to this forum, STG, pep calculator and Fatscientist.

I also promised to help her with questions. My thing is that I usually just point people in the right direction and let them educate themselves. And figure most of it out themselves.

For instance, I used to jailbreak my cell phone when it was more viable to do so. Folks would want me to do it for their devices but I always refused and told them to educate themselves on it. If something went wrong I didn’t need them blaming me or hitting me up at 4am to fix their messed up device.

So, how do y’all go about getting friends/family to be on the grey side of the Force?

I throw in the disclaimer that going grey is admittedly a terrible idea on paper and I don’t want to recommend it to anyone. That being said, it has worked out well for me and saved me a ton of money. Look into it for yourself and make your own choices.

I like that disclaimer! Smooth af. Thank ya.

Once, a friend ask me advices about supplement for help hair growing. This friend made a " reaction" to it, even if it was a natural friendly product available in pharmacy. Even if it been 10 years, he talks about it each time that we see each other, like I am responsible of it. So now, I keep my advice to myself. Not ready for a another year of guilty feeling ✌️

My daughter and are on Reta together and her weight loss has been amazing, but she was aware of peptides and nootropics before I was. I've tried talking to my sister about it, but she's firmly in the FDA camp that everything that doesn't cost an arm and a leg is dangerous.

I call them Puggles, If Muggles don't understand magic, then Puggles don't understand peptides and are blind to the benefits. I've tried to motivate her with my weight loss and the benefits of some the more mainstream peptides and it's like talking to a wall. I'll keep discussing it with her anyway. I have others in my family that would be aghast at what I'm doing. They're all Puggles.

As a rule of thumb or something I have learned from making many lifestyle changes over the past 10+ years, I don’t mention or push anything on to any of them. If they ask, I am happy to share my experience. If they ask for help, I am happy to point them in the right direction, with the same disclaimer already mentioned here. Grey sounds like a very bad idea on paper and isn’t without risk. I have had a great experience but YMMV.

Beyond that I ask that they dig in a bit and if they still need help or are interested, I am here for as little or as much help as they want.

For my husband, I do everything for him, including reconstituting his vials and making pretty labels that tell him exactly how many units he needs to pen.
For my best friend who “doesn’t like to research” I do all of the purchasing for her and let her give me cash. All other friends and family, I let them know they can buy a vial or 2 off of me at twice what I paid and let them know that if they want it for what I pay for it, they can research grey market on their own.

For immediate family, I go all in and have helped them get started. Friends, I just show them where the Rabbit hole is.

I have been having this conversation with my fiend. How do you politely say to wife - Reta has a lot of benefits. It’s a delicate situation (she’s in good shape, but complains about lipid profile, so ….)

I never deliberately introduce peptides to any of my people.

They DO hear about it and think it's hilarious and on brand that I've got 7k mg of Chinese tirz in my freezer and regularly shoot up an alphabet soup of other things. And every once in awhile, someone hits me up in private chat and says "hey, tell me more about your Chinese mystery powder." And I say "Sure, which one and what do you want to know?" And then maybe they have a few curiosity questions, or maybe they end up with a Chinese mystery powder habit of their own.

Then I step back and look at what this world has become, which is when I tell myself to mind my own business
I am ready to give an answer for the hope they can see in me. I ooze of hope and excitement.

- The parable of the peptides

A certain man found the cure for the disease. He told no one but saved his own life.

Another man told many and saved countless lives. Eventually his coffee shop was shut down. And there was a divorce. But he had great joy.

For the wife and I, it’s just straight forward. We both have experienced such a great impact on our lives over the last year and half that people compliment us on our healthy look. That just opens the door for us to share what we are doing. In our case we are very proud of what we have done accomplished and try to share the details of Peptides’s as much as possible. It is interesting to see who ends up looking more into them as opposed to be against them.

If asked, I would offer my insights.

Approaching those offering assistance, nope.

Anyone “in the closet” about using peptides?

Within my circle of people, I openly discuss what I am doing and enjoy hearing about others’ experiences- however my wife is very candid and is choosing not to tell her family or friends at all, not even the ones closest to her..

I keep it a secret. The only people I know are my wife, who wants to start with Reta and I'll help her, and a couple of friends who, after my change, also want to start. I only give my opinion and experience to those who ask for it and are very close to me, not just anyone.

Half my friends are so risk averse they'd barely consider ADHD meds, and the others have no interest/problems that need fixing. Still trying to convince my family of basic facts concerning strength training and exercise - definitely not graduating to peptides just yet! but I'd be open to talking about my experiences to people who are already kinda interested (eg the social media hype types)

Nope, nope, and nope. A close buddy has bariatric surgery before I got going. He's pretty much fucked up for the foreseeable future. I've lost 60 lbs. and nobody will say shit, or notice. Seems like everyone are into themselves so why break them out of their spells. Wife needs what I'm doing but doesn't go for needles. So I do this silently solo.

I definitely didn’t mean to imply that I go around soliciting unprovoked information by any means- or that I talk about it at random for no reason- however I will certainly join in on a conversation if the subject arises, especially if I’m hearing errant or incorrect information.

Hey 'Squatch! Nice to meet ya, Neaderthal here!
All you get for sharing is the blame when anything goes awry....
I'm with you on your attitude - what I do is between me and my A1C.

I try not to onboard many people, as I don’t want loud mouths bringing regulators down on us. Though, I will happily help those who are already seeking.

It is difficult to see someone struggling and know, “there’s a peptide for that,” but their journey is so much deeper, and it’s not my place to help them.

I defer to the famous Hunter S. Thompson quote:

"I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me."

(Just insert strange vials of powder from somewhere in china that make me think twice about choosing KFC)
