Is a pen worth it or am I thinking about this too much?

Just curious with the pens…isn’t there too much product left in the vial neck? I ran into that years ago with a family member’s prescription.
You can get washer type adaptors to stop that. It seems to mostly be a Novo or Savvio thing, but the washers will fit all pens and you can buy them from Peppy, Underground and some Etsy shops.

For glp1s I use syringes. But for peps like Glow or KPV that I use often, pens are the way to go. Wished I had jumped on the bandwagon sooner.
This just went into a fresh cartridge...

This just went into a fresh cartridge...
I finally got around to Klow last week. I can't find a site that doesn't burn. I started in the glutes. It didn't leave a welt, but the ache lasted for hours. Then I read to break up the dose into smaller doses. Got two welts on my thighs. They are still there three days later. I've done the other three in my stomach. I'm not a baby when it comes to pain, but MAN.

Really? I find that KPV softens the blow, so to speak. Did you make your own blend or buy a mixed vial? Also, how much bac are you using? Just .5ml could make a difference.

I bought glow 50/10/10 and added the KPV myself. I used 3ml bac so it would all fit in my pen cartridge.

That would be in my tolerable range, with the understanding that there will be a little burn. Anything past 12 hours is a reaction moreso than just injection soreness.

I gave up and added lidocaine.

I've been using peptides since late Jan and I have always just filled the syringe myself and injected. My mother gets the name brand Tirz 2.5mg from her doctor as "free samples" and absolutely loves the disposable pen. I've been curious about using a pen for my grey shots. Is a pen worth it? I don't have any issues with needles or pulling it from the vial.

I was looking at the auto injector 2

I'm currently on 7.5mg shots - T60@3ml BAC (so 38 units). I can always reconstitute with 2ml for less units and I am comfortable with doing this.
I am just worried that it is going to slam the plunger way too hard.

Am I thinking about this too much?
I use a Mumford Autoinject2.

Autoinject2

Very easy to use and works great. Definitely for those who do not like needles- it is push button spring loaded and the needle is shrouded so you don't see it insert and inject. You have to load it with needles each time you change peptides, but it is worth it to me (I'm on 5 peptides now).

I tried a V2 PepPen with a cartridge but I hated it. It is not spring loaded like the Mumford, you have to press it manually. I couldn't reach it with my thumb correctly so it was hard and the needle actually bent, messing up the shot. I ditched it and returned to using the Mumford. I wish I could find a spring loaded cartridge pen with the shrouded needle. Mumford makes a spring loaded cartridge injector but it's not shrouded so I'm having a hard time using it.

autopen

Anyone know of one like I'm describing which is easily purchasable?

Where did you get those? I've been looking for colored ones as well to help me differentiate mine. Thanks!
A few different places. Mailordermeds.com has the savvios, Underground Supplies usually has the V1s (better than V2) and Alibaba is where I got the bird pen (spring loaded automatic).

Thanks. Which is your favourite? Any chance you can pass on a link to the alibaba ones? Cheers.

I like the savvios for smoothness, the bird pen for spicy peps that I don't want to push myself, and the V2 goes up to 80 units for big pins. It's hard to pick a favorite.

Which is spring loaded? and is it shrouded?(you can't see the needle as it injects)
The bird pen is, but the needle is not shrouded. V2s are, but they are clunky. I believe there's a V3 that functions like the V1 and also has a shrouded needle, but it's not auto like the bird.

Pen Chonghe Lin M30 Diabetes Home Automatic Injection Pen

That's the translated name, in case anyone wonders why it's easier to say bird pen...
