Is anyone actively group testing peptides sourced from China, or just using them based on past results from the supplier?

Hi everyone

I know there’s a lot of talk about the importance of group testing retatrutide when ordering from Chinese manufacturers

That said, I’m curious...for those of you currently sourcing from China, are you actually sending your peptides out for third-party testing (be that in a group or by yourself) or just using them based on trust and past results from the supplier?

Trying to get a clearer idea of what the community is actually doing in practice Would appreciate any input!

Hate to admit it, but I'm using based on past results and trust that suppliers aren't actively trying to kill their customers (i.e. no one's out there selling cleaning powder as glp-1s). Even if I get the wrong pep or wrong dose, it might cause a lot of discomfort or just not work, but it isn't likely to kill me. Saying this as someone with no known allergies. Others might have that to worry about.

Purely just my own opinion based on observations, but I'll bet that most people buying gray market peptides are pinning without testing. The people using peptides that are active in these online groups that are big on testing are probably a minority of users. Most people are probably buying from Aliexpress, vendors they hear about in Facebook groups, TikTok, etc... Me personally? So far I've just free ridden off recent results for same vendor, participated in vendor "group buys" that had random customer testing, or bought from PGB and trusted their two round testing regimen. Sending to Jano is a hassle I don't want to mess with, and dangerous results from testing are rare enough that I'm not really that concerned.

Stg has a test results thread where they group test a good 15 or 20 times a month. Alot of the testing is sry and ssa but there's others from here. I've seen tfc, ABC, nexaph, lspl, etc...

Are you even allowed to mention Nexaph there? Lol. I'm not even sure what drama went down to have them removed as a vendor there. STG is a weird place

Before I knew anything about buying greys from China, I was buying peptides to help with long covid from European sites that were in retrospect just repackaging the Chinese stuff, likely without any additional testing. So I was doing it anyways.

I've tested several vials myself with European labs, and they've all been what they said. For me I plan to just stick with the same supplier that I spot checked myself, and trust their COAs going forward. You can't eliminate all risk, even if you test yourself (you're testing one vial, not all of them usually). But everyone has to do their own risk vs reward analysis and do what makes sense for them.
