Is there any advantage to joining vendor discords and telegrams?

Yes. I won’t name names, but there’s a wonderful spread sheet that a member created—all the vendors, opinions, etc. It used to be accessible to all but when so many people joined he closed access to only people who are a certain level. It’s not on the normal places here, it’s attached to his profile. His work, he gets to gatekeep it. But I was here when everyone could view it and it was very helpful. Now I can’t see it. 😩
You're talking about "the spreadsheet" and its not here. The person who made it (from other people's opinions) took it down and started another forum.

That's now the alligator forum.

He bailed and started his own forum.

You said “I can’t get full access here. I’ll be a newbie forever here. I just want full access to documents.” That’s incorrect — you have complete access to every single aspect of this forum. A random user’s google doc is not part of the functionality of the forum and not influenced by forum policy in any way. It’s frankly troubling that people were under the impression that an individual user’s opinions about vendors were somehow officially related to this forum.

If you want access to it, get in touch with the user who manages it, that’s between y’all. As far as glp1forum is concerned you are a full and unencumbered member.

I think people are better off reading here to find vendor reviews and user experiences with various vendors. The Vendor Connection sub forum is a great starting point to find vendors, then search to find user feedback, and join your target vendor's discord/telegram and read more user feedback, testing policies, 3rd party tests etc.

The problem with a spreadsheet cheatsheet is it is impossible to keep updated with the latest vendor developments and can be incredibly biased by the person updating the sheet. With every new pep batch there are potential changes and drama from vendor to vendor. Case in point GYC - three weeks ago a solid vendor, today, much riskier.

I looked at the spreadsheet in reference about a week ago and I found a lot of it out of date, incomplete or inaccurate. That spreadsheet was one of my first intros to peps, but I think that relying on others to aggregate vendor data and opinions for you is a recipe for trouble. I guess people want to be spoonfed, whether it's the spreadsheet or the "investigation" happening right now over the case of the missing peptides. Like you are saying, way better to just look at vendor sections here and other places, take your time to do a little research, and just be cautious.

The spreadsheet is no longer in use. I actually thought the link had been deactivated.

You're right lol. I just hopped on over to the other forum and checked, that section has been locked down and the link is gone. Maybe it was more than a week ago I last looked? My memory is going already...

I haven't seen the spreadsheet in AGES. But maybe I just haven't looked for it.

He has the CN vendors locked behind a couple posts, but you could easily get there in fifteen minutes of posting replies in a few threads.

Well if anyone is hellbent on getting a spreadsheet of vendors, Stairmaster has one (not sure how updated) on his Tirz help telegram. About 20 vendors rated on price, quality, shipping speed etc. I didn't look at it too closely as I have no need for it.

I imagine between him and his mods it's probably kept pretty up to date. They seem very active over there, one of the mods even popped over here because we mentioned them and were sending people their way.

Edit: There's a note that it was edited the 18th in one of the chats, so yeah, pretty up to date.

There is one privilege only unlocked at the "research enthusiast" level. Posting in the vendor threads.

This isn’t my first rodeo. I cross reference info from multiple sources/forums including several spreadsheets. I like to keep up with the latest but I don’t really need to. I have it all worked out. GLP-1 Forum is excellent—the people, the info. I don’t care to get in an argument.

I didn't know that. I seem to bounce back and forth from "registered" to "research enthusiast" sometimes more than once in the same day. Today it has been RE all day I think.

Weird algorithm running things.

Same here, I am fully stocked up with years of Tirz, I will probably switch to Reta at some point but I probably already have 6 months of it in the freezer. I like to track the prices, offerings and of course the drama.

I'm currently a "research enthusiast." Maybe if I post enough stupid things in the vendor threads I'll get them to change the algorithm. Seriously (as least somewhat) I would post something in the vendor threads today but I don't have anything that I want to say. Also, I don't understand how my titles change.

From scrolling this thread, if arguing and sarcasm isn't your thing this may not be the place for you ! I'm jk ..not jkin ..

It feels like a close knit community has been formed here, but I didn't know about the distain for Reddit, newbies and discord.

Personally, I learn something new everywhere; here, pep grps on Reddit, tirz help telegram (clear concise info and no judgement zone) discord, Peppys, revolt ... but I do keep notifications off 🔕, or it's tooo much !
I've find some of the best prices on discord and made a couple friends.

I log in via phone - as I can't log in using my work computer M-F so telegram and discord are easy to navigate a lot of info quickly. I'm the type that likes reading multiple places and gathering different povs tho too.

i dont think its the platforms user's themselves per say, but most of the reddit /facebook group crowd tends to be the "i demand you tell me everything i need to know now perfectly laid out in a way a 5 year old could understand" type people, which Tirz Help is perfect for.

I think most of us here are the "research yourself, read everything you can find, and ask questions when youre stuck/confused" types, so our personalities mesh much better

Makes sense. There is someplace for everyone. 🙂

I just posted and was demoted (again) for "research enthusiast" to plain ol' "registered". @exploitedworkerbee what's going on with this?

I generally just don't like discord and I don't have telegram. If I'm buying the more common products like glp1's and can find them on whatsapp, and can DM through this forum or peppys, is there any advantage to joining specific vendor discords or telegrams?

I guess maybe there is some coordination of group purity testing that occurs there? but it seems like test results get posted here by vendors for the big stuff anyway.

am i missing anything?
I have never been able to find a Discord with anything worth following. Telegram is kinda nice in that you get a lot of up to the minute sales promos and seems vendors are more responsive on Telegram than they are on Whatasapp. At least that is my experience. I didn´t have Telegram either but downloaded just for this

If the tirz is working stay on it. I switched to Reta and it hasn’t worked as well as tirz for me
