Just a heads up, nimbot labeler on sale

They put RFID tags inside the spool so that the printer knows what size the labels is and that it is niimbot labels. I don't think the RFID is in the labels. So, could I roll a bunch of new generic labels on an old niimbot spool? Maybe. Trying to use up the niimbot labels on the spool first.

I read last night that it worked until niimbot caught on and now they use a counter and it won't print anymore if all the labels that should be on the roll are used. 😵 I thought about testing it with setting it for multiple labels then moving the rfid away and see if that stops the counter because Im curious. It's really good to know that phomemo doesn't have those kind of restrictions. I got the B1 for $16, the same price as my D11, so I can't complain and love the bigger sizes but if I get a 3rd labeler I will check out the phomemo!

Dirty bastards. Does that mean the M2 won't print the whole roll on the one I rolled it back so I could print 2 colors? That's their instructions! Dirty bastards.

The M2 might not have the same issue. This process was being tested on the D11 and B1 that doesn't have any reason to do that. So hopefully your M2 is safe! Let us know if you do come across an issue though.

love the logo and how clean/professional everything looks though! my Tirz 30mg vial came back at 36.7mg, so I updated my mixing ratios accordingly on my label

I got bored, and cheap, and repurposed some clear film Avery sheet labels, used their online design tool and made my own. It’s for my own consumption but looks a helluva lot better that my Brother P-Touch output.

Argh, I almost need to buy the M2. Just because I want circle labels for the tops of my vials. Have another 30 vials coming from chyyyyna maybe its about time.
 
initially bought niimbot but got tired of buyomh btsnded labels ( has chip in roll). Got the phomemo which was slightly more expensive but save a bundle using the generic labels which look good
 
Just a heads up.
I purchased a Niimbot M2 off of the Niimbot website on Feb 24th.
As of yesterday, it still hadn't shipped. I contacted the company and they said they were backlogged on orders and the manufacturing was behind schedule.
They did answer promptly and are going to ship it Express at no charge and throw in some more labels for the inconvenience (we shall see).
On a side note, if you order through Amazon, those are from US warehouses and wont have the delay, BUT you cannot go through Niimbot itself if you have a faulty product, you must deal with the reseller.

My M2 is on it's way. I have a Niimbot D11 that does the job, but isn't as crisp and sharp as I would like. Hoping the M2 will be better.

They’re both 300 DPI, right? I was looking around a while back and didn’t see any of the Niimbots on Amazon that were >300 DPI, so I just stuck with my D110. But the larger labels themselves may help since the font can be bigger.

I sure will, reviews (21K) were pretty good, and there were a bunch. That M2 was more than I wanted to spend to label vials.

I mistyped...I have a D110...but I am hoping the M2 fixes the issue of clarity ...we shall see!

So, I plugged it in last night to charge and loaded the app. I connected it this morning via bluetooth. Loaded to paper and did a quick test by making a quick label. For $18 this is pretty slick and will do everything I need. I ordered another roll of labels this morning. Going to work out real good for the different sizes incoming if they aren't labeled.

When did your order? Did you order thru Niimbot?
I ordered the M2 on 3/6 directly thru the Niimbot site and it still has not shipped. I emailed them yesterday and recieved this response last night

"We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the shipping delay. Due to a temporary shortage of M2 stock, your order may require a few days to arrive before it can be shipped. As compensation, if your order selected standard shipping, we will upgrade you to express delivery free of charge, and you will receive your package within one week of shipment. If your order selected express delivery, we can refund your shipping fee after you sign for the package, and it will still be shipped via express. In addition, we will also give you an extra roll of label paper. We hope you are satisfied."

So now waiting....no clue for how long.

EDIT: I found your previous post, I see you are stuck in limbo as well. Unfortunately I did not see it before I placed the order 🤦‍♀️

That is the exact same reply I received as well. Good news, a couple days after my email explaining the shortage, I was notified it was in transit. I have been tracking it and it hasn't made it to US shores yet, but at least it is saying it's on the move. I ordered Feb 24th

I hope I get that shipped email soon. I wish they would have put a backorder notice on the site.
