This newbie made her first crypto purchase! Went with a vendor that is difficult to find (had to jump through hoops just to get a log in) with a very solid reputation and did a transaction in USDC/sol. My stuff arrived today and I couldn’t be happier!
THEN today I reached out to my vendor who I’ve had good success with who used to take direct bank transactions and now no longer does. They gave me instructions for BTC and that’s too volatile for my taste so I asked about USDC and they said “yes, dear friend ❤️” and gave me instructions for USDC on BEP20.
Now, THAT was a bit of a stretch to figure out, and then buy more USDC/sol on the .com, and then transfer to my Exodus wallet and then swap. But she got my small practice amount that I sent her!! First try!!
So, yes this is a giant pain and as I work through these processes I definitely feel like I’m leaving small amounts of money sitting everywhere above and beyond just dealing with transaction fees, but it is manageable once you get the hang of it.
