So, I've got a kit for KLOW I am about to start using, so I got out my tackle box and went to work. Reconstituted with 3mL of Hospira BAC water and everything there went well.

I'm filtering into a 3mL pen cartridge, so I clean everything with wipes and first insert my venting needle in the cartridge. I then affixed my 13mm, .22u PES filter to my syringe, and then slipped the luer lock needle over the slip end of the filter. First two mL went through fine, but I was having a hell of a time getting the last .5 mL to pass through the filter. I didn't want to blow out the filter, but it got incredibly difficult to squeeze, so I just stopped.

I didn't see any particulate in the vial pre-filter, and I let it sit about twenty minutes after reconstituting. Trying to figure out what I did wrong here, or if anyone has had issues filtering KLOW.

I have no idea how to filter but just bought my tackle box tonight. I’ll be filtering everything forward. I watched a few videos and my only thought or if it was me could you have just pulled the needle out. Turn the needle towards the ceiling and just insert a new filter and needle. Than finish the last ML. If not is it because you lose to much Klow in the old filter. But you could certainly draw it all back. Just a thought. Again. I’m totally clueless but in the learning stage.
