What type of filter do you use for klow? Any klow specific filtering advice/best practices would be great.
For all peptides, KLOW included, I use Biologix PES Sterile 0.22 um (micron, or micrometer) filters. I get them from their site directly, as I do not trust Amazon to not send knockoffs or screw up and send PTFE filters. For small amounts of peptides (less than 2 ml flow through) a 4 mm filter diameter is fine. Though I tend to just go with the 13 mm diameter filters. They're around $50 for 100, or if you're doomsday prepping, less than $300 for 800, haha.
Aside from that, in it's simplest form, it's just... 80% of the BAC water to recon in the original vial, let it fully dissolve.
Then, draw into a new luer lok syringe, remove the needle, attach to the filter (some people will push a little BAC water through beforehand to pre-wet the filter membrane) and slowly push through the filter into a new vial (with just a needle, no syringe through the vial's port to allow air pressure to be let out).
Lastly, with a new luerlok syringe and needle, draw an the remaining 20% of the BAC needed to recon, to help flush any remaining peptide from the filter into your newly, mostly cleaner reconstituted vial.
Oh, and of course, you cannot use too many isopropyl alcohol wipes. Several for surfaces, vials, gloved hands, syringes, and vial caps if you use them. Hope this helps!
