I've been taking cag .50 mg. It wasn't to bad at that dose so I decided to up to 1 mg. HUGE mistake! It knocked me for a loop. I basically slept for 2 days and barely ate. It knocked my appetite completely. Cag is a wonderful add on if you keep the dose low. I take tirz on Sunday and cag on Wednesday. At the smaller dose I was doing fine so I'm going back down and keep it there.

Ditto. When I go back to cagri, a long cruise at 300 mcg for me.

Related post yesterday about cagri:

I’ve gotten to 5mg/wk and can confirm, still breaks stalls and fatigue continues. It is usually pretty bad the two days following the injection and then chills out for the remainder of the week. A quick nap does wonders for it though.

I recently upped from 125mcg to 250 mcg and felt some fatigue for a day or so...can't attribute it to anything else...going to push on through because I do respond to it with tirz...

Thanks for this information! Sorry that Cagri knocked you out.

I’ve had some extreme tiredness at night on .5mg this past week so I’m definitely going to take my time titrating up. So, very useful info!

I must be the exception. Been on cag maybe 8 weeks and am on 1.2mg and not having any tiredness. Appetite suppression is there but not too strong (eat between 1400-2000 cals a day, 10-20k steps a day) also on 12.5mg tirz and get full quicker.
However because I use tirz its hard to see if thats more Cag or tirz. I wassnt getting much on tirz alone so I think its more Cag at the moment.
Im feeling fine on my dose (tirz friday, cag monday) so not thinking of going up anytime soon.

That's great that you haven't experienced any of the fatigue. I tried cagri about 2 months ago for a couple of weeks and had no side effects and mild appetite supression. This time, .5mg is kicking my ass and I haven't thought about food since pinning.

Something in your post makes me wonder if my fatigue this time is because I pinned both on the same day. Last go around, I split the doses like you do. But this time, I figured that since they dose cagrisema on the same day, why not do the same. Tomorrow is shot day, so I think I'll just take my tirzepatide dose on it's own and hold off on the cagri until Monday.

You definitely need to keep us updated when you do. If ensuring you take the tirz and cagri on different days helps alleviate the exhaustion, that's a cheat code we all need to know about! I'm hoping you're right!

It's pretty common to offset days when stacking GLPs. Mostly, because it helps spread out the "food noise" suppression. So Tirz (wait 3 days) Cagri/Survo/Maz. It lets me keep dosage low. The only time I move them around is when I know I'm going out for a nice dinner and WANT to be able to eat EVERYTHING. Note, I'm on maintenance YMMV.

I'll definitely post how it goes next week with the fatigue. I'm hoping that I can survive this side effect. Strangely, now that I know it's a side, I've resisted closing my eyes and falling asleep and have been okay.

Yes, normally I would have split my doses with days in between. When I stacked with sema last fall, I did that three days apart. I honestly don't know what gave me the brainstorm (or rather dumb idea 🤔) to pin the cagri right after my tirz shot. I think I was looking at the cagrisema clinicals and figured why not 🤣, now I know why not.

I tried Cagri 2 weeks ago at .250. The first day was fine, but day 2 - no energy. Not sleepy, just overwhelmingly tired. It was so bad I skipped it the next week. Tried it again this week at .170. So far, so good. Cagri is strong stuff.

Ok, you're Holyfield then...protect your ears, eh?

So Elora will be killer then, eh?
pin the cagri right after my tirz shot.
are you familiar with living la vida loca?.

I've been taking .5 about 3 days after 5mg reta and I do think it's causing some fatigue but nothing unmanageable. I like to take the cagri at night so I can sleep off the initial fatigue and then I pin MOTS-C the next morning and I feel like that helps too.

Maybe the .5mg was just too much to start for me. Are you pinning tirz or reta too? What days to you pin?

I am in no rush for the Elora. I like Tirz and have enough to last for a few years, so it is unlikely that I will changing unless I get to max dose, and it stops working. Hopefully by then they will have worked out all the Elora kinks in testing, etc.

I'd never consumed any peptide other than tirzepatide, but stalled for months now with 30 pounds to go. Monday of this week I had my usual 7.5 mg of tirz (concluding my 3.5-day split; going back to 15 mg 1/week on the upcoming Monday).

Wednesday first-ever cagrilintide, at 0.25mg. Thursday evening compelling nodding-off. Thursday night: 11 hours of solid and delightful sleep.

This would worry me greatly if I had to drive when that effect hit.

But no other discernible effects, so far: no appetite suppression; no GI issues

I was going to ask what people thought of this method. I have Cagri on order to arrive next week, but I’m also looking at mots c for just overall energy boost. But at what point am I doing too much? I def want the Cagri for occasional use to combat hunger (on 10mg Tz) as needed, but then if I need the mots to combat fatigue from Cagri, will I need another peptide to help me sleep after taking Cagri?
Gah. So much to research still! 😅

Ya, It can be a slippery slope for sure. I went from scared of one needle a week to an 11 needle week over the course of 6 months - it's the daily Klow that really boosts the numbers though.

It's crazy how everyone's body is so different. Me I can't take reta. I've not heard many that can't. I can also take glow and klow with no issues. It never burns or causes issues at the injection sight. Now if I can get the courage to try mots. But that's for another day.

I just ordered cagri. And right now, I'm on a dose of 1 mg of reta weekly for the past 5 weeks, and that reta hits me pretty hard. So I think cag would probably knock me out as well. So I'm thinking a dose of 100 micrograms might do it for me. And it's not as if I need it, I just wanna try it out and see how I feel. And see if I can push the calories further down to accelerate the fat loss. But it might be a mistake because I seem to be a hyper responder to these weight loss drugs, but we shall see. I like being a lab rat 😁

I moved my cagri dose this week to Monday morning rather than pinning on the same day that I pin my tirzepatide dose (Saturday) and I feel a TON better. I didn't fall asleep on the couch on Monday night or last night, and I'm wide wake right now.

I definitely recommend anyone considering stacking with cagri to stagger the dosing and not to be a smartass like me and try pinning both on the same day 🤣.

On an aside, I love the feels of cagri. No really interest in food, but still able to eat.

Oh that's great to hear! Thanks for the update. I tell you what, if the same happens for you next week when you split your days for pinning them and you report back the same results, I'll pull the trigger on some cagri myself.

I will definitely update next week. If I had to do it again, in addition to pinning on a different day, I'd also probably start at .25mg.

This is exactly how I started. I take my tirzepitide on Sunday and cag on Wednesday.

And I knew that most do this, and depsite that, I made the decision to pin on the same day 😂. I thought I was a professional peptide user and could handle it, and clearly I'm still in the amatuers. I also underestimated the strength of cagri.

How is your journey with cagri going?
