I have done really well on compounded tirzepatide. I have been on every diet known and this has worked much better than anything else. It not only helped my weight, my lab numbers and BP are much better. Doing so well that my primary care MD said "see you in a year" at my last visit. That said I am really concerned about my availability options going forward and that it was brought me to this website. Just trying to learn everything I can.

Welcome to the forum! Always good news when a doctor doesn't want to see you for another year! If he asks about weight loss next year tell him you've focused on being sedentary and carb loading! Worth the reaction...😳

Last year my rheumatoid arthritis doctor was amazed by me losing weight and wanted to know as much as he could so he could recommend zepbound to other people struggling. (I told him I was on that). I know in the beginning some doctors were skeptical but now I think they are coming around now that they see how well it works.

Definitely the case with my PCP! She prescribed me Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro and Zepbound all in the same day (12.5 Zepbound starting dose!) just cuz I asked for a GLP.

She was admittedly clueless to GLP-1s but now I'm her big success story! She's seriously amazed! And she speaks with authority now mostly fueled by her "Karen" patients who want the drugs and complain about every little side effect and nag her for dosage increases for her to fight prior authorization denials for drugs they don't quality for (Mounjaro or Ozempic for non diabetics)... Huge time suck.

I told my MD about my intentions to try tirzepatide before I ever started it. At that time, Brand name was in shortage, so I started the compounded.
