I lie. I'm high-key freaking out. Has anyone gotten an email like this? I'm not sure if it's just a thing for my country? Seems like a bit much. Worried that I won't get my package.
Just looking for a bit of reassurance.

Can you take a screenshot of the email address that this message came from? I'm wondering if this is a scam.

If you don't mind, I'd also love to know who you ordered from. All of my packages typically come by USPS.

Pretty sure it's not a scam. They did call me first. Or maybe I'm just really gullible. Customs in my country I know are pretty strict, though. It's a Caribbean island. The email address included my country name so I didn't want to post it. I'm just really hoping they allow it through.

I ordered from TCI. They were the only company that was willing to try shipping to me. Everyone else flat out told me no.

This is normal when customs seizes something. I saw a screenshot similar from UPS. It even said the the package was turned over to the FDA or something. You basically provide the documents or you forfeit the package.

Well, now I think we can understand why other vendors were unwilling to ship to you.

Hope it works out for you and you get your peps.
Yeah. That's why I kinda understood why they said no, though I wasn't happy about it. Ah well. We live and learn.

I am not an expert at all in Grenada, but I work in tech with offices all over the world and have been shipping equipment for years to our various facilities. A commercial invoice is required for most countries. There is nothing unusual with this request. Ask your vendor if they provided it in the sleeve on the outside of the box. They should have if its needed. If they didn't ask them to send you one. They will know what this is and what it means. It also appears your country may have a VAT which is why it's asking for your account. In my experience, FedEx or DHL will act as your broker and then bill you for it. If they are asking for your Tax ID number for some reason that is specific to Grenada, you'll have to give it to them.

The advice above that this has been seized is not correct. So far, they're asking for basic information. The only thing I would be worried about is why nobody else would ship it to you, and you went with some no-name company that may not have done this correctly.

Okay cool. They sent me the invoice and I emailed as requested. I didn't realize VAT wasn't a thing everywhere. I didn't really understand what was meant by the import number and Google was less than helpful. They showed me the waybill before shipping and it had all the same information as the invoice which was also why I was confused about the request.

Anyways, many thanks for the insight. And so much for me trying to hide my country 🤣 .

No one here is really going to know anything about the specific customs process in your country. Or about the legality of peptides their either.

But it sounds like they just want their taxes.
