Does any one in this forum have any experience or success with this? I only just saw this pop up as a practice on social media recently and couldn't find any mention of it here. I like the idea of being able to be targeted with my face or scalp and avoiding the sting that I've heard comes from pinning it but wonder if it is effective at all. I'd love to hear about your experience if you are willing to share. Thanks!

Find the “Anela Protocol” on Reddit. Micro needling was annoying/painful and I didn’t keep it up, but I have lots of allergies. I will never stop using Anela’s GHK-Cu serum, though. There are ways to pin to minimize the Brute Enforcer Emeritus sting like results. When pinning remember to take a zinc to be proactive.

I bought the micro needle stuff. a roller and a stamp. i've only done it once and it don't hurt at all. punch a few thousand holes then goop some GHK-cu solution on. I need to get the AHK-cu though. its better for hair.

i'm wondering about those little vials with the needles and you fill the vials with the liquid. do those needles actually inject the liquid. if so that's probably better than rolling/stamping then applying liquid cu afterward.

Oh thank you. Very interesting. I have the stamp as well but hadn't been putting anything too meaningful on after. Are you reconstituting the GHK-cu as if you were pinning or mixing it with something else?

I've looked at the Qure micro needle thing. It doesn't inject the serum just puts it on the skin at the same time. I considered it but i prefer the larger surface area of my stamp. I haven't heard of AHK-cu so will be looking at that now too! Thanks!

Oh interesting I'll go check that out. Many thanks!

I think there are better things to use with microneedling, the products are called "bioboosters" and they help the pen glide over the skin, reducing some of the micro-tearing. I use a microneedling pen called "dr. pen" instead of the stamps or rollers. The little vials don't inject, they just deposit the booster on top of the skin at the same time that you are needling.

I would definitely only do this with GHK-Cu that you have personally paid to have tested. GHK-Cu seems cheap to produce, but you may end up with a blue face tattoo if it’s just some sort of pigment in a vial.

I was trying to be a hard ass when I was a teenager. I took a pin, string, and ink from calligraphy class and made myself a jailhouse tattoo.

I tell you that because given my authentic lived experience your silly “blue face tattoo” comment is PRECISELY the kind of internet-BS that lists like this help do away with.

To get ACTUAL INK in the skin one bores REALLY DEEPLY UNDER the skin. Microneedling is just the top layer that those of us who engage in “cosmetic chemical skin peels” mess about with ALL the time. In short, microneedling is not even akin to tattooing.

What’s more - just so you THINK TWICE before commenting again - cheap GHK-CU could be tested from here to infinity and beyond and few labs would be able to tell if “it’s just some sort of pigment in a vial.” Seriously, Andy, nothing personal, but don’t knock it unless you’ve tried it.

So — for those of you interested in microneedling — give it a go. I bought a teensy microneedling vial for something like $10. I am old, my skin is very thin, I am extremely fair completed/prone to age spots — and it didn’t do much for me (I use SkinCueticals face peels instead) - and yet who knows, you might see a real benefit.

I wasn’t aware you were a dermatologist or had so much experience with micro needling that you were immune from over penetration. I think you should absolutely go for it. Don’t test anything. Maybe start with a small test area near your eye that looks like a tear drop.

Or you could just be a little humble and slow your f***ing roll.

The audacity of me to recommend someone get something tested before they use it is reprehensible!

Really — telling ME to be humble?! Dude.

It’s attitudes like yours that in fact KEEP people from using these lists. You do NOT have any moral ground to correct me, and you do NOT have the authentic lived experience to discuss this issue. Get OFF this thread and back in your lane, you big bully you.

But I WAS wrong on one thing (yes, I fact check EVERYTHING I write, unlike some large Chinese bears) — applicators are NOW $16 with a .25mm series of tiny needles (but if you have skin like that Chinese bear that is **so thin** that a quarter of a millimeter needle will burst through and hit your male ego, please do NOT use.)

Oh, and Andy — this is a final goodbye.

If you are really a dermatologist I fear for your patients. You are trying to get people messed up. Leave them your proper information so they can sue you after they destroy their faces with your bad advice that you are stating as fact.

Maybe you should just go for a ride in your Subaru and calm down.

Also, your “authentic lived experience,” that’s just called an opinion. Everyone has one.

i've got an injection gun and you can use a micro needle attachment and really get some serious liquids right under the skin. I need to get that out and try it. I mix my ghk-cu with as much powder as the distilled water can suspend.

testing smesting. pretty hard to f yourself up with cosmetic stuff. people get cuts and scrapes on filthy stuff all the time.

When I was a kid, I got poked in my knuckle with a pencil. Now there is a black speck there.

When I was in my late teens, I got a half sleeve tattoo. Now there are a bunch of colors on my arm.

😂🤣 These are my authentic lived experiences that NOBODY cares about.

I burned a hole in my skin the size of a 45 bullet. it's a right of passage. I get in my trans-am 455 4sp and lay down some smokey stripes and all is better.

I bet you have died on a lot of hills in your long lifetime.

By the way, there are tattoos that are made with microneedles. They are deposited at between 0.9 to 1.25mm under the skin. I microneedle up to 1.25mm under the skin all of the time. I'd give you some links to prove it, but something tells me you will never back down from your venom and vitriol even if I microneedled the link right onto your face.
