Mixing Tirz, Reta, Cagri in same vial?

Hi all,

I'm currrently on 1.5mg of Cagrilintide and 15mg of Tirz. Since moving up from 12mg Tirz alone I've lost another ~20lbs but seem to have plateaued in the past few weeks and I'm still pretty well above my goal weight of 240lbs. For that reason, I'm seriously considering switching from Tirz to Reta, but doing three separate injections is kind of daunting (and expensive). Would it be safe to just pre-mix Tirz, Reta, and Cagri in a single vial and inject it all at once or will they react with one another?

Also curious about this.

What I do is just draw the liquid from each vial into the same syringe and then only inject once.

Generally speaking, mixing GLPs with other peptides has always been seen as a no-no:

And there is a school of thought that, due to the uncertainty, no peptides should be mixed together, even just in a syringe before injection. I did see a mouse study where GHK basic was mixed with GHK-Cu, so I would probably be comfortable with that.

A small number of Chinese vendors sell pre-mixed tirz and reta, but I don't know anyone who buys that. When tirz + reta was accidentally mixed together by MIX last fall, they recalled it. A single vial reseller sold me that recall, so I only have it in the freezer for a peptide apocalypse.

The cagri + sema mix sold by the Chinese also seems like amatuer hour compared to Big Pharma:

Incidentally, cagri and sema (on their own) seem more natural (less foreign) to the immune system compared to tirz or reta.

It really depends on the vial supplier (excipients in they lyophilized puck) and the amount/type of BAC used. It might work once and not work at a different temperature or cloud up in the fridge after a few days.

The reta and cagri in particular can both be bothersome to recon by themselves and together it's a crapshoot even if it "worked once". Tirz and cagri are easier to recon and I might be tempted, if I had vials to throw away.

Since you're adding on reta anyway and I assume you want to ramp, That one should definitely be separate in any case.

Of course, even if it looks good in a vial or syringe, there could be issues, at least if doing this long-lerm.

Like with reta on its own that isn't cloudy, there can still be TFA salt issues, just less obvious. That's why there is a Jano test for TFA, but very few pay for it.

So I JUST started Reta last week, and I added Cagri last night. I did NOT mix in one syringe nor in one vial, in part because I want to see if a specific pairing/stack works better than another. I took so little of reta and cagri last night I am sure I will be a slovenly pig this weekend til my Saturday Tirz shot. And I am debating if I want to do Cagri with Tirz as well. Lots of testing.

I assume this is because of the Cagri inclusion from this pin, but yesterday I was SO LIGHTHEADED around maybe 11am til at least 3pm. It did fade after that but I was not dehydrated or hungry, and I was nervous it was a vestibular migraine kicking in. I have only had one in the last 5 years since my gastric sleeve. But it did pass, so maybe that was it? My heart rate did not change at all in that window, at least per my apple watch.
 
Given the concerns about cagri forming fibrils, it might be better not to mix it with anything. And if you want to slowly swap to reta you are going to have to adjust tirz/reta dose so mixing them would make that harder.
If you want to save on syringes and injections using one syringe for some or all of them would be safer as they will not be mixed together for as long as if they were mixed in a vial. Ideally cagri should be separate, but I mix all 3 in one syringe for doses. tirz4.5mg/reta1.4mg/2 days and cagri 0.25/4 days.
