Hello everyone. Thank you for allowing me to join. So i have purchased the tirzepatide peptide from a US based company. What was advertised for reconstitution was BAC, which I thought was bacteriostatic water. I received a vial that is labeled 1% benzoyl alcohol. I have googled of course but I can't find any information on this particular peptide and solution for reconstitution. Does anyone know how the peptide activity and sustainability would be affected. Or does anyone use this solution for reconstitution?? Thank you for any help

Standard bacteriostatic water is sterile water plus 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative, to minimize microbial growth. So on the face of it, you have the right stuff. [The wrong stuff is just plain sterile water, or most vials labeled "reconstituting solution" which might be good for single-use preparations]

It would be a good idea to state the US-based vendor, and if possible include a pic of the bac water vial.

I am having a really hard time finding hospira bac water that’s in stock 😬
Check out Amsco Medical. They just raised the price, I think because come July there's going to be more restrictions on it. But the price is still better than other places I've seen. You can also buy individual bottles if you don't want a whole 25ct box.

There are also other places that were mentioned in this forum where you can purchase bacteriostatic water. The only thing is is that some places charge $7 per bottle. It's a little more, but the price isn't bad. It's better to buy in bulk, but if you think about it, you won't need 25 bottles for the whole year. You will find some and I wish you luck if you find it reasonably priced in bulk.

You don't have to state where you got it from, if you don't want to. It would be good, if you are comfortable to send us a pic of the product. This way we can see what you have, and if you're able to reconstitute with it for now until, you find some Hospira bac water.
