Nexaph T30 Failed Sterility (T30 pre sale Christmas batch)

I apologize if this has been asked, but is there a video showing how this is done?

I wonder if running your kits through an autoclave would destroy the peptides?
yep. heat destroys peptides. it’s why you have to filter sterilize and nor heat. the other common food sterilization, gamma radiation will also destroy peptides.

You all got me going to a bunch of links and buying stuff to start filtering now. I figured I should probably filter my overseas stuff, but I had hope that US based places buying the raw from China and setting up the filler and vials here would be a bit more careful.

I also assumed the higher price point for Nexa covered making extra sure stuff like this wasn’t an issue. So, that’s it, I’m going completely dark grey and filtering from now on. I’ll get my own spot testing done.

So I bought a kit in this presale and I just finished the first vial. I reconstituted with Hospira and filtered. No problems at all. The rest is in the freezer and I'll keep using it. This is the first time I've had something that failed a test but I'm gonna continue to use it. I guess we all have acceptable risk tolerances.

I used to buy from a compounding pharmacy before I got on the gray train. From my point of view that was more risky since you got no testing info from those services.

Just making, but filtering through a 22um filter and into a sterile vial fixes any of these issues right?
YES! filtering your reconstituted peptides through a standard 0.22 µm sterile syringe filter would very likely remove Staphylococcus pasteuri and most other bacteria from the solution before you inject it. I just filter EVERYTHING even my coffee !!!

That's absurd. Compounding pharmacies are actually regulated (badly, but still).

Not absurd. Jaded maybe. I mean you give some service your money and they send you vials with pharmacy labels on them. You can't contact the pharmacy, you don't get paperwork that says it was tested. If something went wrong your recourse is limited.

Unless you're getting it straight from big pharma in preloaded pens it's all a calculated gamble.

Editing to add that I don't love that the batch failed testing. It does give me pause about buying from them again.

I’m downright irritated. I haven’t seen buffered NAD+ anywhere else. I had a whole plan for a cycle starting in mid April. And it isn’t even necessarily that I can’t still just get it from them and make sure I filter it, it’s the principle of wanting them to clean up there act, which they have no incentive to do if people know better and buy it anyway.

kits4less downside is they’re really pricey and a large minimum order and crypto only. upside is US based and you do get it fast.

I was in a T60 independent test group from around this same time and all was good except for endotoxins were a little high, but nothing concerning.
What is considered good for endotoxins? I have a the scammers manipulating test results for profit at Finnrisk test but all it says is low less than 40 eu / vial.

Hey everyone! More test results came in from that Nexaph batch, and all 8 samples passed. It's weird, but basically it was a huge batch and it seems likely that there's a pretty large percentage of sterility failures, but at least some are fine. It doesn't seem like it's out of the norm in these spaces. I think we should keep pushing vendors to get better by holding them to high standards and talking about this stuff, and it's a good lesson to just keep filtering even if you trust your source.

Lots of people (including vendors) like to point to the FDA limits which is based on body weight, dose, and EUs per hour. It would appear from the FDA guidance that the upper safety limit for a 70kg person is 350EUs per hour. But this limit is when things start to get dangerous, not necessarily an acceptable level of exposure.

This guidance is from Sufa Leeway at Flying Purple Pep Guild on TG (large testing community) and their thoughts on endotoxin limits. I think that the background info and advice is solid, but everyone has to make their own determination of acceptable level of exposure.

Which is weird itself. I really didn’t follow the group testing protocol with all the different cap colors and all the batches, but it’s interesting that different labs found such varying results. Doesn’t inspire much confidence in the testing process or the manufacturing process if some vials in a batch fail but others pass. And that all the failing vials ended up at the same lab. That’s weird too.

I totally agree with you that this is a good lesson about filtering. My protocol was that if I had a batch that had sterility testing that had passed that I would not filter as I thought that that was just an opportunity to introduce contamination during the reconstitution process. But, after this, everything is getting filtered and I’m not going to push how long I keep a reconstituted vial in the fridge. This stuff is cheap enough to use a more conservative limit.

His business model was to build a reputation with pre-sale testing, low-ish prices, and quality guarantees, and then getting away with raising prices while reducing quality and service because of the inertia of said reputation. I’ll admit, my expectations of the guy are extremely low but not replacing a batch that fails sterility surprises even me.

Anyway, the higher price point you’re paying is pure manipulation, he offers exactly nothing exceptional. This was foreseeable from the very beginning of his little endeavor.

Ok. This is my first foray down that rabbit hole. Which has actually been sort of fun so far. There seem to be several gates. Seems like I’ll actually need to order to pass through the next one, and the “white swan” is way too much for what I need.

I'm totally with you on all counts! The whole thing is every kind of suspicious, and doesn't inspire confidence in labs, manufacturing, or the people in charge of the companies. I'm considering it a really good wake up call. I was the same, I filtered some things but not all. That's changing now, there are plenty of places where we can order sterile supplies. And if anyone is using pens, the fact that you have to put it into a different vial anyway makes it a no brainer.

I have some thoughts on the conflicting results, but I'm officially done with Nexaph. And just placed an order for more filters 😂.

I was looking at filters on a site and it said they weren’t sterile. Is that common?

Wish they sold 4mm filters. But they don't. (That said, if you're filtering 3ml vials, as I expect most of us are, The 13mm is the correct size filter. 4mm for up to 1ml, 13mm for 1 to 5ml)

Sterile, price point one of the best I could find ($.51/ea), free shipping, and 5 days from order to on the doorstep.

Not a dirtball shape-shifting sleazy Amazon seller who may or may not be selling counterfeit product.

Gotta admit, I'm kinda fed up with Amazon lately.
