No effect from Reta after taking a short break?

Hi all, I started reta on 23/08 and continued until 12/11, slowly titrating up to 2mg a week by the end of it. I took a short break until 23/11 where I started my first batch from a grey market vendor. I took 2.5mg initially, felt nothing, and took another 2.5mg a few days later - also feeling nothing (I now realise how unsafe this was after not testing what I was injecting into my body). I have continued to take about 5mg of this Reta(?) but still feeling nothing. By now I believe I received something that was either A. Not reta or B. Severely underdosed reta.

Any other likely causes for why I felt no effects? Thanks All!

Either find a group that tested it, test it yourself or buy some stuff from a better source that is tested and start all over with just 2mg. There was a guy not too long ago who had the same issue and titrated up and felt nothing then switched to a new vender and kept the high dose. Found out that the previous batch had no reta in it and then injected himself with 9mg as his real starter dose. He did not have a good time.

This is interesting. Even when I took tirz from the pharmacy, if I ever took a break and went back to that dose, it wouldn’t work as before. I would have to go up in dose quite a bit to get the effects again.

Here's some example math that might explain what happened to you. Let's say you're on a 5mg weekly dose, just to have numbers to use, but this same principle scales to any dosage level:

On a steady 5mg weekly dose, every shot day is probably bumping you up to ~9mg total in your body, which (at a 5-day half life) drops to about 4mg right before your next shot.... and then is bumped back up to 9mg after your next 5mg dose.

If you took more than a few weeks off, the residual tirz in your body would have dropped to ~0. At that point the next 5mg dose would bump you up to 5mg (instead of the 9mg that you had been used to on shot day) and it would have taken a few weeks (unless you started with a larger loading dose) to get back up to where you were, sticking with 5mg dosage.
