“No Source Discussion”?

The #1 reason I joined this forum is to discuss, review and research sources before throwing money out into the grey market. Now I’m seeing “No source discussion” everywhere, yet there’s an entire section here titled “Vendor Reviews.”

Am I missing something? Misunderstanding something? Are we not allowed to discuss if we order something and it’s bunk any longer?

It's just a partial restriction placed on "newbies". It blocks people from popping in and asking "hey where can I get some of the best/cheapest/fastest/goodest" dope. This site attempts to get folks to do their own research, It's all explained in the "Introduce Yourself" thread. The vendor section is open to all "BUT" the ads posted there should not be considered recommendations. Some are paid subscribers which helps to defray the cost of running this forum... Which is way over my head....
 
Do you want this forum to be a sea of posts titled "HELP LOL" and the body text is "Hey guYs, wAts tHE beST plAcE to gEt hGH lol ty 🙏❤️"?

Cause allowing source discussion with brand new people is how you get a sea of posts titled "HELP LOL" and the body text is "Hey guYs, wAts tHE beST plAcE to gEt hGH lol ty 🙏❤️"

Ok, I honestly just saw the red everywhere and was so confused!
 
I’ve been a member for over a year and recently noticed that my account has this red banner. I’m not sure what caused the change, it may be related to my usage. I’m not looking for sources, so it doesn’t bother me.
 
As someone who has relatively recently joined, it didn’t bother me. The gigantic recommended suppliers thread was a good help in establishing the principles of what to look for in a vendor anyway. Mainly I read the cat thread 🤣

Enforcing a bit of space to read the many excellent resources here is no bad thing IMO. Research peptides are such a steep learning curve for best research practice anyway.

Also recently joined. It went away soon enough imo. I still haven’t touched the Recommended Suppliers thread. THERE ARE SO MANY PAGES IN THAT THING
 
I’m still very new here, so I hope I’m not doing anything wrong by posting this. For me the whole process feels a bit overwhelming. I want to clarify that I’m not looking for suppliers, after a lot of research I’ve already found two reliable vendors and things are going well with them.
I really appreciate this forum; I’ve learned so much just by reading, and that’s why I finally decided to join.
What worries me is the possibility that my current vendors might close one day, and the idea of being left without GLP‑1 honestly scares me. As an Italian user, I’m still unsure about how to express myself here and I really don’t want to break any rules or make things harder for myself.
I completely respect the guidelines, but I’m trying to understand how I can eventually unlock my status and access the usual privileges. I’m not sure that simply waiting will be enough, and I’m afraid I might never get there.

WELCOME Mara, If you've read thru the "Introduce Yourself" subForum, you won't be crossing any "red lines". Moderators here are very forgiving and helpful. The steps of progress to the higher levels come by participating,/posting/asking questions/etc. Progress is automatically handled by computer algorithm. Yea, it all seems pretty daunting and overwhelming. Whole new language to learn, new definitions, and abbreviations. Read others postings and you'll see that lots of us were in the same boat....This is my 1st forum that I've joined. It's like riding a bike, gets easier as you learn...

Thank you, you're very kind and your reply is really comforting.
My fear is exactly that: writing something wrong or posting in the wrong place, especially because I'm under restrictions and I don't want to make my situation worse.
I'm also afraid of asking "stupid" questions.
I really hope I won't mess things up. Even my Italian doesn't always help, let alone
my English! But I'll try ☺️

Just interact with threads, be useful, post count and likes is probably a big part of the algorithm. They essentially want to see that you are useful to the community before unrestricting you.

Thank you so much, I really appreciate you taking the time to helped and explain this to me.
For now, I’m mostly here to learn and read. It’s a forum with many knowledgeable people, so I prefer to observe and understand better before being more active. I’m looking forward to being able to participate more and share something useful from my own experience when the time comes!
 
i wanted to leave an honest review about a vendor I recently purchased from because the products feel underdosed or ineffective.

I also wanted to ask for guidance on my mixing and dilution process to rule out user error, but yeah inhave to reveal source (the vial) to do that.

On top of that, I wanted to ask whether anyone had recent lab testing or group testing results from this specific vendor, but apparently that is not allowed to be discussed either. Oh well.

Any idea on the timeline of unlocking DMs? Or am I just too dense to figure out how to do it... LOL I know that might be a weird question, but I'd really like to join a testing group and that seems to require sending DMs so I figured I would ask. No problem waiting patiently, just wanted to know if I was overlooking something and didn't want to end up waiting way too long to ask about something I could have done if only I had the brain cells to figure it out 🤣

No one is interested in your honest review of a vendor yet, because nobody KNOWS you yet. You're just some guy/girl/they who showed up, and you haven't yet established any sort of "this is a real person" yet (participation wise, not time wise).

It's okay for YOU to mention where you got something when you're talking about how you're doing a thing, though. You're not forbidden. That said, you just walked into a place with a search bar and a hundred thousand conversations that have already been had about how to do a thing. You should try to see what others may have said before you say "please help me do my own math," and expecting brand new people to make an attempt at doing so before they post what may be a question that's been posted several hundred times is how this place stays meaningful instead of dull and repetitive.

(And when I say "you," I don't mean "you, guster, personally")

I just wish we got credit for lurking, man, am I good at that! I appreciate the responses from the senior members, some good info in this and I didn't even realize we can't DM yet. Its good to have those safeguards so naive brochacha's like me don't mess everything up!

My DMs are open and I joined 11 days after you. Use the forum, interact with threads, try to add value with replies and it will come.

I’m still restricted, and I don’t mind at all. The other places on the internet where these things are discussed are full of the same questions over and over again. I like the level of conversation here a lot more.

I agree, and unfortunately you’re right, there are a lot of places online where the same questions keep coming up again and again. That’s one of the reasons I really appreciate this community, the level of discussion here feels much higher. My concern isn’t about asking naive questions; it’s more that I’m still restricted and a little worried about making a mistake or setting myself back, so for now I’m mostly learning from everyone.

If I may respectfully add myself to this request. I’d genuinely appreciate the opportunity to participate in a serious group testing and to do so responsibly. I fully understand and respect the messaging restrictions, but not being able to reach out privately makes situations like this difficult. If any consideration were possible, I would truly appreciate it. Thank you for the work you do moderating the community.

I agree, the safeguards definitely make sense. I understand why the restrictions are there. Just makes situations like group testing harder to navigate.
